War crimes are war crimes. Two wrongs do not make a right, ever. It can be relevant to discuss proportionality in retaliation and escalations, but that does not mean that deliberately targeting civilians is EVER justified. (And no, simply serving a few years of mandatory military service does not make someone a non-civilian if they are not part of the armed forces at that time. Any more than celebrating the misfortune of an enemy makes someone culpable for the actual atrocity.)

I have no confidence anymore in any international instances that were supposed to protect and uphold justice for the victims regardless of their ethnicity, faith and/or gender . Why palestinien victims don't get the same outcry as the Ukrainien victims ?......
