Gaza people were not living in a prison - they elected Hamas which is a modern times Nazi religious terror organization. The civilians of Gaza activity participated and celebrated the atrocities, they held hostages in their own homes under torture of food deprivation and abuse of all sorts. No one in Israel will accept the presence of this Nazi society at its border, committed to annihilate Israel and Jews. They lost their right to live there, their 22 Arab countries can take them in but refuse to do it even as refuges when the international law requires them to do so. There is a buffer zone along the border which is about 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) long. It is critical that security is beefed up quadruply.
