One of the biggest issues with occupiers and colonial empires is the massive imbalance in power and technology. The simple reason we don't have a ceasefire is because two nations out of hundreds don't feel they need one. We in the US continue to send weapons because we can, and Israel continues to do whatever they want to do with them because they can. They've basically told the world, "who can or will stop us?" But we will cry terror when someone actually does. That's the power of owning all the media: the narrative is set by them and most people buy right into it. But have those people switch places with the minority power and see how quickly their thinking changes.
