On each of Ron’s Bible Story animations students listen to the Bible account and music while watching the story being illustrated in a simple, captivating way. Each fun, humorous, memorable animation lasts 3-5 minutes.
God did not want the Israelites to treat the Ark of the Covenant like a magic wand. It was to be held in reverence. This animation shows how the Israelites misused it.
The Philistines Capture the Ark (1 Samuel 4:1-11)
1 And the word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now Israel went out to battle against the Philistines. They encamped at Ebenezer, and the Philistines encamped at Aphek. 2 The Philistines drew up in line against Israel, and when the battle spread, Israel was defeated before the Philistines, who killed about four thousand men on the field of battle. 3 And when the people came to the camp, the elders of Israel said, “Why has the Lord defeated us today before the Philistines? Let us bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord here from Shiloh, that it[a] may come among us and save us from the power of our enemies.” 4 So the people sent to Shiloh and brought from there the ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts, who is enthroned on the cherubim. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God. 5 As soon as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came into the camp, all Israel gave a mighty shout, so that the earth resounded. 6 And when the Philistines heard the noise of the shouting, they said, “What does this great shouting in the camp of the Hebrews mean?” And when they learned that the ark of the Lord had come to the camp, 7 the Philistines were afraid, for they said, “A god has come into the camp.” And they said, “Woe to us! For nothing like this has happened before. 8 Woe to us! Who can deliver us from the power of these mighty gods? These are the gods who struck the Egyptians with every sort of plague in the wilderness. 9 Take courage, and be men, O Philistines, lest you become slaves to the Hebrews as they have been to you; be men and fight.” 10 So the Philistines fought, and Israel was defeated, and they fled, every man to his home. And there was a very great slaughter, for thirty thousand foot soldiers of Israel fell. 11 And the ark of God was captured, and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, died.

As long as the group is ten or fewer people. The client I created this for gave me permission to post the videos. They would prefer that people buy these videos from them rather than use them for free for their groups.

I just read this part about the ark and Dagon. Most likely these Israelites died because they were wicked and didn’t know the lord, since they worshipped strange gods. And god alone sent plagues to the philistinies and brought terror to them. And god wasn’t going to deliver The enemies to the hands of Israel without their own sins be paid first with blood- so god wasn’t with the soldiers in their plight. The oxen stumbled and Uzzah leapt forward to save Yahweh from falling off the cart. (2 Samuel 6-6) (1 Chron 13- 9) Yahweh murdered him. (2 Samuel 6-7) (1 Chron 13- 10) The hypocrite who commands everyone not to kill: murdered Uzzah for helping. That’s why David refused to move Yahweh and left him for another three months in Gath. (1 Chro 12 - 14) (2 Samuel 6-11) If Yahweh cannot get to his own Temple -how can he help you?

Good question? That's a lot of people that died.The only thing I can think of is God is the author of life and death. He creates life and he can take it away for any reason at any time. In fact we will all die some day. He most likely took their life at this time to make a point. In establishing his people the Israelites, it seems that the consequences for them and their opponents at that time were greater and more immediate than they are for us today.

If you would watch some of my teaching videos you would know that God clearly called me to create cartoons for communicating God’s Truths. I am doing what God has called me to do with the gifts he has given me. What is shameful is your judgemental spirit, that you would think you what God’s will is for someone’s life. How arrogant of you! You need to repent. You don’t even know me. If you understood the grace of God through Jesus Christ you would not judge other people’s motives.

No what is shameful is the way you lack respect for those God have honoured, and part of arrogance is rejecting the truth as you are doing now. The irony is reeking from you, you say I judged you but then you judge me, well I judge by the apparent and how arrogant of you to claim that the Lord of the multiverse is pleased with your actions of portraying his prophets and messengers as jokes, rather only the devils and his worshippers would applaud such a despicable act. What you're doing is blasphemous even tp xstians standards, if you you understood the first commandment you wouldn't be a xstian. Worship the one who Jesus worshipped. May Allah guide you and remove the covering over your heart and the veil over your ears and eyes.
