Social media platforms are already covertly/algorithmically deleting speech that go against the narrative, and the government ie expediting the passage of bills that increasingly infringe upon privacy and speech rights. They probably won't outright ban content creators and media outlets (yet) due to how obvious and attention grabbing it would be, so things will probably be limited to jawboning/banning social media platforms for the time being.

That's the clever trick behind democracy and capitalism If we swapped the names between Nazis and IDF Would you know the difference? So if all they have to do is rebrand.... This is why we must demand Govt by People's Referenda: Peaceful Occupation of our Capitals until it's installed, or run Mascot Candidates Single Issue Referendums with thresholds and a social contract means Communities can vote their own laws. A Public Authority can audit police and prosecute bad cops in our own courts. Nationalise resources and give Indigenous peoples the right of Sovereignty over them as Guardians. This can be achieved through a General Strike or Velvet Revolution, much like the Occupy movement, peacefully occupying State Buildings until a People's Mandate can be implemented. With the appropriate checks and balances, you could have a national digital forum where qualified professionals can debate the issues in a public setting without all the disinformation and bad faith antics, hatespeech etc. Any vote would need to pass the 70% threshold, with a veto or _rewrite_ vote needing 30%. The issues would be debated, the public educated, and then a vote taken. Votes that fail will have to wait a year before trying again. Any new proposal (Citizen Initiated Referendum) would have to reach a threshold of support before it made it onto the register. This would be subject to a Social Contract (New Constitution) that forbids human rights abuses and discrimination. That can be written in the same manner based on the core principles we all share. Councils and Boards could operate in the same fashion at Scale. It works in a way that obligates people to better educate themselves ( that is to use logic and evidence in their reasoning ) for a better understanding of the issues, and then take collective responsibility for the outcomes. As opposed to the divisive US v them scapegoating and bi-partisan finger pointing the current Capitalist Pyramid Scheme runs on. We need Government by People's Referenda, either through Mascot Candidates or Peaceful Occupation of the Capitals until one is established. Make it an annual event on Oct 14

The 2 "alleged" parties are just to give the illussion of choice, but in practice, it's a 1 party system. More painful is to consider that the Capitol should constitute an image of the american society, but you don't see school teachers, social workers or engineers elected, like they have in Europe. The US wants full control over Israel to protect its interests in the middle east. (Economy, foreign affairs, oil exportation..). In order to achieve their goal, they ought to stand with Israel at any given moment to show support and therefore improve relations. I'm tired of people saying it is "impossible" to get a 3rd party candidate elected. It isn't if people stop allowing themselves to be emotionally manipulated with the argument that "our guy is bad, but the other guy is even worse". This means that over half of MPs in parliament are Friends of israel and means therefore that the Israelis control British foreign policy towards Israel, a truly disgraceful state of affairs which explains almost total support for Israel from the British government and Parliament.
