Israel has put craters all over the south of Lebanon and poofed a lot of structures. Israel has been consistently daily attacked by Hezbollah from Lebanon and loons in Syria this entire time and Israel has daily immediately fired back and blown up wherever the rockets come from. Then Israel uses a precision drone and takes out those involved. When people are crying about the Lebanese / Israel war they’d do well to remember these months where Hezbollah has tried hard to begin a war and Israel has shown incredible restraint! Please, I encourage you to understand the surah/verse properly with the context of the surah/verses. I have no intention whatsoever to disrespect any other beliefs, but I cant just let people to misunderstand the quran. surah 9:5, that action is for the one that "violated" their treaties, the verse before it, mention about the disbelievers who honoured to the term of their treaties.
