Those, who fled due to the Israeli-Arab conflict (often being told to do so by their Arab leaders) have suffered ever since because of that choice. They've been given chance after chance for peace but have allowed themselves to be be exploited as useful idiots by their leaders, whether Arafat and the PLO in the past or Hamas and Fatah today. They can keep living in 1948 (the vast majority of Palestinians weren't even alive at the time), forever dreaming of the "river to the sea" fantasy that will never happen, or they can face reality, stop acting like savages, and over time gain freedom and a better life. It's possible. Egypt and Jordan were able to do it. But the Palestinians have insisted on being the forever victims and continue to suffer for it. The most evil of them alters severely the brain functions. A good example of this could be seen in the case of Otto Warmbier. Otto was falsely accused of a crime in North Korea. During his imprisonment, he was given drugs (by mouth and intravenously) which altered severely his brain functions. He was released in a terrible condition, and died a few days after his arrival to the United States. In case of a second prisoner swap, Hamas has the order to give the most evil drugs to some of the remaining hostages.

Freeing Palestine doesn't mean the eradication of Israel. The liberation of Palestine is not about destroying Israel. It is about ending the oppression and dispossession of the Palestinian people who have no state, who endure decades of occupation, and who suffer under an apartheid regime. "FREE Palestine" is a call for freedom, dignity, and justice for those who are denied these rights. It is a demand for justice, self-determination, and national liberation for the Palestinian people. Throughout history and until today, every person of conscience has supported and empathized with the Palestinian cause, because they have faced the longest and most brutal oppression of any people in the last two centuries. It is tragic that the very people (the Jews) who once faced genocide, are now inflicting the same horrors on others. No country, NONE, has ever openly declared its intention to commit war crimes and violate international law as Israel has done by threatening to cut off ALL water, food, electricity, and fuel from the Palestinian CIVILIANS, under the false pretext of 'fighting Hamas'. We are talking about the basic necessities that none of us can live without. I cannot ignore the houses that are being demolished block by block, with the hidden agenda of driving Palestinians out of their homes, so that they never return to such ruins because it will be almost impossible to rebuild. And of course, with the ground invasion promising to double down on Israel's hidden agenda to make its plan of broadening its occupied land mass a reality. There is a 'law of proportionality' in international law. It is a simple logic. International law upholds and defends that logic. Can prisoners be starved just because they are prisoners? No. But an apartheid state does not respect international law. Let us honestly ask ourselves, which countries have killed more people than we can count in this century? 🤔 This is not about math, fact/fiction, right/wrong, religion, or anything else... this is purely about being HUMAN. Countless millions of people (mostly from POOR nations) have been erased from this earth, and they are survived by refugees (and those who are fortunate enough/unfortunate to survive this 'hell-on-earth experience' are also as good as dead, for the life they lead after such unspeakable devastation is hardly worth living). The current Israel-Palestine situation has been labeled as a "conflict" by some. It is NOT a conflict, it is an occupation that has lasted for 75 years by a settler, colonial, apartheid, racist state that was established by the British, with the consent of many Arab countries that surround the area. So we cannot call it a "conflict" because it is asymmetric, there is a huge power imbalance between the Palestinians and the Israelis. And we should make that clear. When the general public hear the word "conflict", I think it definitely gives the impression that somehow there are two equal sides that are fighting each other, almost as if there are two regular armies on a field who are confronting each other. This is not the case at all, the Palestinians have been struggling to survive and to preserve the sanctity of Al-Aqsa and the land for 75 years and they have done it with remarkable aplomb (courage), we should be proud of them for that. Coming from a nation that fought against a colonial Italy, I should know and appreciate the price our ancestors had paid with their lives so generations to come shall live with their dignity and honor intact. Palestinians have the same right to say no to a colonial Israel, so that generations of Palestinians to come shall live with their honor and dignity intact. Somehow Turning this 75 year long occupation into a conversation about "Hamas", a group that did not exist two decades ago, is an insult to our intelligence and an insult to the factual grievances of the Palestinian people. It's not working. Israel's massacre had succeeded in one thing, it has put the Palestinian struggle to the fore, for the entire world to see it for what it has always been, the genocide of our time. "If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing." - el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz (Malcolm X), Rest In Power. Peace will only come when love for one's enemies is the rallying cry on both sides . I dare every young person to take up the pacifist path for the sake of the children killed on both sides of a conflict . If we truly care about the death of innocent children on all sides , the pacifist path or the path of non violence is the only way to deal with our disagreements . Today we need another Mahatma Ghandi or Martin Luther King . For those who believe war is a legitimate way in which to solve injustice then one must accept the consequenses, such as the death of civilians and destruction of property often on a huge scale . Further when chaos reigns in a war situation there is always a percentage of soldiers on whatever side willing to rape , pillage and murder innocent civilians . No matter what people say there is no such thing as a clean war ie it's impossible to cleanse a war situation of atrocities committed by both sides . Human nature is human nature no matter the outer clothing of their particular religion . In the midst of war it's all too easy to cast off such outer garments . Religion is often a veneer behind which lurks the shadow in each person. The greatest enemy of human nature lies in each person , one that will need dealing with if we are to live in peace with each other . Instead we project often that which we dont like about ourselves onto a person or group etc , believing falsely of course one would never behave like that person or group who serves as the screen for these projections .
