Israel accused of possible war crime over killing of boy in West Bank | BBC News
On the 29 November last year, two Palestinian boys were killed by Israeli forces in Jenin in the occupied West Bank.
BBC Verify has pieced together what happened on the day when Basil, 15, and eight-year-old Adam were killed.
The evidence has prompted Ben Saul, UN special rapporteur on human rights and counter-terrorism, to say the death of Adam appears to be a "war crime".
The Israel Defense Forces said the circumstances of the deaths were “under review” but added “live fire is used only in order to remove immediate threats or for arrest purposes, following arrest protocols after exhausting other options”.

If one wishes to avoid conflict, perhaps ending the occupation of Palestine is warranted. Currently, the situation mirrors that of a burglar asserting a right to self-defense against the homeowner, who is merely protecting their property and well-being.

The facts are indisputable. Palestinians live in an apartheid, colonial-settler state, one that has dispossessed them of their land for some seventy years, has forced them to live in dehumanizing conditions that are worse than an open-air prison (unlike Palestinians, inmates are not periodically bombed), persecutes them for their religious affiliation, devastates them economically, seeks to (and yet has failed to) break them psychologically, interminably terrorizes and periodically massacres them as a policy (some of Israel’s politicians speak of killing Palestinians as ‘mowing the grass’).

The facts are disputable. Israel has been attempting to help the Palestinians establish a state, yet their own internal conflicts have hampered this. Years of random acts of violence disrupting civilized society have motivated the creation of safety systems that stop suicide bombings, knifings, car attacks etc. Israel left Gaza 17 years ago only to be faced with missile attack after missile attack. Gaza and the West Bank is Palestinian land, there’s a border control between them, just like the border at Tijuana there is a border control. To,expect otherwise is unrealistic, to call it an open air prison is hyperbole.
The world's most 'moral army' sure does kill a lot of children.

@@supernova7848 International law will define genocide and war crimes and the ICC will likely look at that - not US law, regardless of whatever definition the US comes up with. And the US is not part of the ICC AFAIK, although neither is Israel. But the ICC will wait for Netanyahu… and Putin.

Yes but we don't know any of their names do we, we can remember Adam as we remember Hind and Dunia-remember her who lost all her family and her legs. Then Israel bombed the hospital she was in. We have little value for boys and need to question why? We can't believe the lie that they are all Hamas or Terrorists even if they are throwing things.
