On November 2, 1917, the Balfour Declaration delivered British support for a Jewish home in Palestine, which decades later led to the creation of the State of Israel.
On the centennial of the Balfour Declaration, the Talk Show examines Israel’s present-day political situation with leading experts including Israel’s Counsel General in New York, Dani Dayan; Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations Executive Vice Chairman Malcom Hoenlein; Senior Resident Scholar at the Arab Gulf States Institute, Hussein Ibish; and longtime Middle East analyst and author Aaron David Miller.

@Upper Stone If Russia ask Ukraine today to accept giving away half their country, by your logic Ukraine should then do so ? Palestine is illegal occupied territory, why should they accept anything but their whole land ?

Apartheid is actually going on in Afghanistan against 20 million women and many ethnic groups, but the world bl8nd to see.
As in the Balfour Declaration this programme has no representation of Palestinian views.

if the Jews could get the U.S. to help Britain in the war which was against the wishes of the American people until the sinking of the Lusitania then after the war the Balfour Declaration would be signed.
There is nothing morally right in colonialism.So why bother to sit down chit chat on this subject.As if there is a righteous point in it.

Balfour considered the Jews a special case, of course he did. He could have sent that letter to many, but it just happened to be the richest fat cat of them all.

Land and territory belongs to whoever can take it and hold it. Why don't the Palestinians form an army and an air force as the Israelis have, and take what they seem to think belongs to them? It didn't take Israel very long to develop both those forces.
