“How perfectly marvelous!” I’ve always loved Lord Merton for so many reasons. He just always was the most romantic and gentle fellow. He deserved so much happiness and I’m so glad he found it finally with Isobel. I’m so glad Lord Merton got away from his toxic family. "Am I?" You can see the actual moment of realization. Her eyes show it. In that moment Isobel's eyes widen and she knows The Dowager is right. Then the panic sets in that she's loved him for some time and his time left is fleeting. Her acting is top tier.

That last scene is one of my favorites. Violet and Isobel have such a good friendship, and Violet is so ride or die and I love it.
Dowager: " Never let feelings of tenderness be a bar to snooping.Never." translation: If you care about a person you have even more motivation to be nosey lol I love her stubborn logic sometimes 😂
