We have ALL been there!
As a guitarist who really loves improvisation, these kinds of jam sessions are what I really strive for. Just havin a drink with a friend, playing lovely chord progressions such as this, and taking turns soloing over it. Just pure joy, expression, friendship, and love for music. Man, I hope i get to experience this someday.

Me n my buddy are tryin n we have little sessions but we both suck. Me worse than him lol
I don’t mind the flashy perfectionist shorts that are compressed within an inch of their life and taken after 100 takes, but this … this is special. The urgency , the casual laisezfaire blaze conversation between two alive people playing off each other, no machines, no backing tracks, no double tracks? Just .. vibes
My mother loved Stevie Wonder. Listening to your drunken jam session at 1:58am and missing my mother so much I could cry. This fed my heart. God bless you guys ❤😢

I find the more I play like this the looser I get and I experiment, get in a groove, and over ... time ... it becomes natural and intuitive.

Sweet! Y’all sound great! Love those background vocals too!
There's people that can move their fingers fast acros a fret board and then there's people who make instruments come alive and speak to our souls, that distinction should be made and you two are the latter. Phenominal jam.

Genuinely no words, I’ve watched this about 10 times now, hopefully someone will like this so I can keep coming back. 🙏 Also, if there’s any theory experts out there are they mainly just playing the C#minor pentatonic and following chords or are they using other scales as well? If I spent a lifetime I don’t think I could dissect the whole video 😭
