Isle of Skye Shipwreck NOT ON THE INTERNET!

In this video, I hunt for a shipwreck I read about that fails to appear anywhere on the internet! It's called the Mary Grimes Shipwreck.
Last week, my pal Gary Beaumont and I went on the hunt for a shipwreck I recently read about in an Isle of Skye discovery book. The strange thing is the shipwreck fails to appear on Google. Even stranger, the location, Duart Bay, where apparently the boat wreck rests doesn't appear in Google Maps or even in OS Maps. Very strange indeed!
This was just too much of a mystery to ignore!
The question is... did we succeed?
I hope you enjoy the video

I wondered what you would do with your images, and as always you've done a great job, the black and white just makes it! I always find a new location a challenge, but as you quite rightly said its not always about the images, and what a great day out it was, it will be a long long time before I forget the racing chickens!!!! Looking forward to the next instalment

I've lived on skye my whole life and just stumbled across this today with my son. Your video has been the only information we have found about the ship! Hoping to pick some locals knowledge of the area, its hauntingly beautiful and we would love to find out more about it. Your pictures of it are great!

Love the video and the story- well done-- The only shot I wish you had done a still on was when the older wreck was about half covered in water- in the video it looked like it had potential. Just the outside curves and the center line was showing. As always fantastic job

What an absolute gem of a find! It's always such a joy to be able to explore and discover new things like this. The images all look really great. The time lapse of the water swallowing the shipwreck was really great, a real showcase of how hidden it is.

Wow! Absolutely stunning. All the images were. I love how in the video you talk about the struggle of putting the wreck in a scene, leaving us to think the images would be disappointing, but they are anything but. One day I will get to Skye. I believe I have found the location, as Gary did not reveal the exact location, I will respect his wishes and will not reveal. I did find one photograph of the wreck online on Alamy, but that also does not reveal the exact location. Finding it was like trying to find a pin in a haystack.

I love your Fine Art Photography. I have recently been going through your KZread channel and I love it all but the fine art seems to tweak my interest more. I am a virgin photographer and would love to learn this technic. Little money at the time. Older Nikon D5100 camera and a Canon T something I will be getting from my mom. Medically retired and bored out of my tree, so I thought photography would be something new to learn away from being an electrician for the last 37 years.
