@@gregolson5650 Hi Greg, the first thing to do is register with the ferry company’s from west of England like direct ferries & steam packet. They advertise next years tickets the day after the TT finishes & they sell out very quickly so that’s where you need to go firstly. 2023 is already sold out. You sometimes see them appear on eBay etc as peoples plans change. I have always camped as hotels & guest houses are very expensive & sold out. Camping at quarter bridge rugby club is good & Manx fun farm . Good & you will be amazed when you see it. 👍

IMO nothing beats that 4-1 header, 6th gear, twist the grip off and let 'er eat, howl! Have to listen to the glorious notes echoing off those old dry stone walls, before I kick the bucket.

The shots with more than two bikes together are from the Irish road races. You rarely get more than two together at the TT. Race format is different. TT riders start at 10 sec intervals. Irish Road races are the more typical start seen at circuit races.

I don't think there is a single base-jump or wing suit event where every time it's held, 3 participants die. So TT Isle of man is a step further in disregarding personal safety.

@@adpop750 You have to temper that with the number of participants and the cycle of instance or in this case ever lap should be counted. p.s. I believe the average is 2 people per year. With thousands of laps completed per event or year.

It's 275 deaths (260 riders) in 100 isle of man races. And it's not that in old times many people died, the negative record was in 2005 when 11 people died. You show me a base jumping event with 100 participants that last a week where 2-3 people die on average, every time it's held. Ps. if you gonna count numbers of laps it all becomes apples oranges, because then why not take into account buildings jumped, meters descended, seconds of air time, or whatever and you can trump up any statistic you like, so let's not do that.

not a race a race is where who comes first is the winner here at tt they race against the clock so one biker does not know who the winner is till the finish JUST SAYING.

A lot of these 'TT' videos are filled with clips from some of the 15 or so Irish road race events. Get it right lads.

It would help if all of this footage was actually from the TT and from 2022 🙄

They do incur large G forces. As a general rule it is recommended not to consume food for at least 2 hours before a race unless you enjoy the idea of your helmet filling up with your breakfast under breaking.
