I once had a normal solo orbit run where mercs and parasites killing each other and made it easier for us Mantis to finish the run, then after the fight, I rushed to lair location smoothly until I drowned there due to no diving gear or speed boost buffs. Epic Also I never knew the ending would actually turn white, mine kinda stuck at the air with the sfx are loopin.

The screen turning white was special effects I added to the video. They still have yet to fix the ending. Also, sorry that run ended poorly - I generally power Docks as I'm not quite confident in the whole free diving stunt into Lair yet. If you try to free dive again, I recommend at least taking the partially-filled diving gear just so that you can save yourself from drowning if things don't work according to plan.

This video motivated me to start playing Isle again after a long burnout, did or it test runs for tomorrow, ended up actually doing it and being saved from a 11 points of oxygen diving gear from drowning at the end. In other words, thank you, and that this game is purely up to luck. Wish you guys luck if you try. By: An Essay Writer. Have fun reading all of this.

There can be quite a bit of luck involved, but there are things you can count on being there every time - shield pack in grand lake, for example. That said, I'm glad this video helped you. Thanks for watching!

very good video, there is no isle channel alike this one

Glad I managed to have my winning orbit run be solo aswell since 90% of the time when I tried doing it with random groups, they would always fail at certain points or individuals in them would even betray the group, and it went about as interesting as yours but I had a unique plan in mind. First I basically just solely targeted the sniper to kill him, so I could not be killed long range (since I have died to sniper way too many times). Then I kind of left the mercs to die from the dragon and the eventual parasites, I even had mantis body slam one of them in the grand lake to kill them. For the parasites, I used an upgraded cloak and a sniper rifle to easily kill hornet so I had no risk of dying to him. Then I went to lab to get more weapons so I could deal with the remaining parasites. As this was happening, leech and frog were killing most of the remaining mercs left, but thankfully not all to the point the elite mercs would come. Then day 5 came and I frantically raced to the jungle to kill the other parasites, but as I got there I figured the weapons I grabbed wouldn't help much (it was just another sniper rifle that was useless against leech) so I just let mantis do the work and it succeeded, then I quickly went to lair so I could escape in time, and that's my story. It wasn't a really well optimized run and had plenty of flaws, but it worked regardless.

If you don't move at all in the pipes, you're at the mercy of your position in the flow - that generally ends in you getting chopped up by the turbines. That said, though, it is good to remember your tip for faster movement through the pipes. Thanks for sharing.

Yes this is a good tip, but you have to align yourself with the side of the wall that you wont be grabbed by the fans.

there is a way to get the shield pack without diving gear, and theres a route with an underwater cave by the cargo ship, but you need to be quick cause you black out right as you get to the end of each tunnel

Yeah, I remember even watching a video or two on getting the shield pack without diving gear, but I have yet to try that trick for myself. And yeah, I recently discovered that tunnel by the cargo ship. I'll try it without diving gear at some point and see how it goes.

Frog is responsible for all the zombies on the island, and without strong equipment you can easily get outnumbered by the zombies he spawns + the blind effect without art c or goggles makes it so hard

i got very lucky with droneys spawn too when it came to the strange rock too first i got strange rock off of spawn then used it and got teleported to droneys spawn then after grabbing droney, i went to grab art C and went to lair the after disabling the armor, i use strange rock AGAIN and got teleported back to droneys location i decided to loot bungalows after that and used strange rock again where i got spawned to outside of hangar pretty lucky

i found out 2 days ago that if you run TOWARDS hornet while he is firing his stinger, not a singleshot will hit you. the shots will just go past/over you so this might help you in future runs. remember, when you hear beeping, runs TOWARDS hornet and NO shots will hit you. you will be unscathed, but if you run away or sideways, shots WILL hit you (This only works if hornet is above or below you, say hes on a hill while you are on the ground) found this out in a failed hanger run

I have no idea if this is a bug, but when I brought a ballistic vest and ballistic shield I took no damage from the acid. It still helped me do solo orbit.

does anyone know why it dont let me pick the armor logs from the lair. Instead of giving me the green text and allowing me to sabotage hornet's armor, it says "Paper looks important. Perhaps there is some information on it" in a white text and doesnt let me sabotage

Read the armor blueprints near Hornet's vest in the Lair. Once you do that, you can sabotage any vest any time any round.

The ending is incomplete, so you have to leave the game yourself once you beat the Orbit. What you see in the video is merely a transition I edited in.

I did orbit solo and the only survivor is leech and somehow mantis is tired of fighting. (Day 4)

Oof... Well, worse come to worst, if you need to kill Leech, large volley rapid-fire weapons and shotguns will do the trick - I recommend a shield pack if you haven't got one already just to ensure Leech can't stunlock you to death.

I once was doing orbit whit a squad and they practiacally all died to agent b6 and hornet or Leech also the leader had tablet and died very far away so i couldnt get tablet it ended up agent b6 and the parasites figthing only leech survived and because i had no guns he killed me

Ouch... If it's any comfort, I'm pretty sure you don't need the Mantis Tablet to complete The Orbit. Against Leech, try to get yourself some effective cover (or a shield pack) and a shotgun or a rapid-fire weapon with a large volley (like LMG or Gatling). Heck, if you can hit Leech in the back with a sniping rifle of some sort (scoped, sniper, or heavy rifle), you don't even need to worry about him blocking any of your shots - just make sure you remain undetected by Leech in that case. Hope this helps.

@@ploopyploopy22d22 Holding the pack in your hand is not enough. When you're holding it in your hand, click to equip it. With that, as long as the forcefield isn't down, you can use it to protect you from the acid indefinitely.

You only need Mantis to be unable to detect them. Sometimes they fall out of the world and that counts as the mercs being defeated, so you technically don't have to kill the mercs to get the orbit. Also, if you can somehow complete every other orbit objective on day 1, the mercs don't even have to land on the Isle for you to win the orbit. (Good luck to whoever attempts THAT without modifiers...)
