I can confirm that I've never seen anyone eat like an islander. I used to go to a hungi every year at Christmas time with a samoan family and couldn't believe how much tukka they could put away over the course of an afternoon and night. It wasn't just a single meal, it went for like 12 hours. Amazing food and people

I used to work for Virgin at Sydney Airport. The flight to Tonga was the worst. We used to spend the majority of the time packing large foam boxes full of KFC in the luggage hold. Because they didn't have kfc in Tonga they used to take a shit load of chicken back home from here on dry ice and pay the baggage fee. When they came to see relos or visit Australia it was a big deal to get KFC. 🤣😅🤣 You'd break a box and it would be full of buckets. Chicken spilling everywhere on the tarmac. Good times!

@@Looking-great you have a big family. Everyone saves, we buy a big house, smash the mortgage in 7 years because we live together, then do it again. Its easier to do when youre a big single unit. That's how we Islanders do it. We do everything as a single family unit. Its also why we're so tight-knit as a family unit. We spend everyday and have multiple generations under the same roof.
