Hi Kris, that key plate has the 'Staffordshire Knot' below the crown, very interesting
Fun episode - cat badge and cat lead seal is great
Oh my days I had the shock of my life when I started watching this today x you were in my neck of the woods lol I would have loved to have met you guys and sat and listened to some of your stories x plus Sean’s daughter went to school with my daughter lol x glad you guys had a grand time x
Blooming fantastic adventures, old boy. Son of Ragnar will return, but will gold dodger be able to keep his name. Richard Swett may even try to release a video on this adventure before our next one......maybe.
This looks so much fun! :) Wish I had mates that would do stuff like this with me 😂
The intro already made my Day 😂
4:20 Bottle shape was for smelling salts. Had them at school for fun! 14:51 is a WWII brass Kit Bag locking Handle, hinge at one end, flat piece at the other end of one side that goes into a slot on the other and you put a lock through it. Dad had one, I used it at Scout Camp with his WWII kit bag. Matches up with the awesome cap badge. 33:13 looks like 1775, interesting coin! Great video, loved the comraderie between you three.
Epic trip dude! We single handed my kept Wetherspoons in business

Ruff perfume for dogs? You must be barking mad! 🙂 - - Curved metal thing 14 mins in - looks like half a mail-sack lock, pivots on the broken flat end., and a notch on t-other went into a ratchet catch. -- Had to chuckle at you digging halfway to Australia for a gold bottle-top!
Thanks for the not so treasure island video.
The purpose of a log of pattering on the poison bottle, Was that the blind , wouldn’t take by mistake, amazing when finding green ans blue , place A light behind them and wow . Well done in the bottle hunt
Brill 🎉
That coin you found near the end I thought I could see a E and C represent East India trading company
Chris your vague thing/ twisty twisty actually looks like the little hammers you would get in the pack with the toffee, tray of toffee and the little hammer to whack the heck out of it until it smashed 😮.
A cap badge trumps coins any day!!

@@Addictedtobleeps @foundintheground Haha. Can be easily unmangled. Far less common than George III coins (in my experience anyway) and hold a lot more personal history.
The key hole thing has a Staffordshire knot on it. And the bottom part of the cap badge, with the wheel was Royal Artillery. Maybe Australian Artillery?
18:30 the second i saw it i knew it was australian (i'm really into australia ww2)
3:40 could be a cat
blue glass means poison. I used to dig them up here in the paddock
Sorry Chris that's not a dog that's a Rooster

Let's all send King Charles III Coronation Best Wishes to *Craig Best, 46, and Roger Pilling, 75* , who were sentenced to five years and two months at Durham Crown Court on Thursday following their trial. I'm sure they will celebrate this important day knowing that Under the *Treasure Act* , any metal object believed to be more than 200 years old *is owned by the Crown* 👑 and must be declared to authorities within 14 days. 👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑 They were convicted on two charges of possessing and conspiring to sell criminal property worth £766,000, namely coins believed to have been buried by a Viking in the ninth century that they *failed to declare as treasure*
