As-Salaam Alaykum, (1.) As an Islamic financial body (cooperative), but with a window for business; how can one determine the percentage to be taken on the profit without one cheating the other based on the proposal tendered perhaps the borrower borrowed #1,000,000 for his business. Who takes the lion share? (2.) Is Mudarabah permissible in Islam?

Another question: is the dropshipper a seller or a facilitator?

so I think if I sell something with a RETURN ACCEPTED policy in place, I am taking ownership of the product even if it's a dropshipping item. The end result MUST be that the person who paid for the item should be satisfied and happy with his purchase, and if he is not, he knows that he can get his money back. I dont know if this thought of mine goes with the hadith?! Any ideas?

The same thing I also thought of, coz it's the dropshipper in charge of returns and refunds that also indicates tht the liability is on his side not the supplier....And I think that is clearly fine regarding to the perspective of justice..

I think re liability then the seller/middle man DOES TAKE liabitly becuase he has taken payment first for it before orderin it to be shipped

Because YOU don't know the ruling doesn't mean others don't already know and thus they do not have the phrase the question as such. It's not the case that 'everything is halal until YOU know the ruling'.

Conclusion of this topic anyone know ?

if i am a home delivery provider, like they give me a list o if items, I buy those items, deliver it to them, then they pay? the delivery will be done buy a parcel company

Does the hadith, in its Arabic form, mean "that which is not in your possession" or "that which you do not own"? "maa laysa 'indak" obviously translates to "that which is not in your possession". I believe there is a difference between possession and ownership. Could you please enlighten us more on that. Jazaakumu'Allah khayran

Ownership involves the absolute rights and legitimate claim to an object. It means to own the object by the owner. Possession is more the physical control of an object. --Google

when it comes to dropshipping it’s like I’m charging a fee for my service for example I’m helping someone else’s product to sell it on my website by promoting it to many other customers (it’s like charging a delivery fee as in a courier service) I’m a mediator who helps the customer find the item of the seller... the risk in this business is that I’m paying money for promotion and rent for the website and their are other expenses included too what if their were no sales after I promoted them their I will have to bear the loss....

I think that the most important thing is that the customer get his itme if not you have to refund then if you do all legal and not cheating why should it be haram

@@othmantassa6919 because i was doing dropping some date food , i sold like 100 time , but one day i bought for myself from that person I got very bad product , i was so amazed that i sold this too many time to other people may Allah forgive me , this is why drop ship is haram untill you the product is completely with you

@@siddiquejamali9388 you can buy the products from the supplier and test them so you know what customers are gonna receive you are generalizing with one experience I also bought 2 Projektor and they didn't come but it doesn't mean that you have to do it like that. Because doing dropshipping like you did is bad and yii will never get results

@@siddiquejamali9388 and if customers are not happy with your products you can refund them and let them send to u the item back so is upon to you how you do it m I hope you understand what I mean because using the excuse is haram by doing dropshipping in a bad way is not an valid argument

Assalam aleikum brothers sorry for that .but finally..what they sad ..it's haram or halal?

My conclusion after watching the video is this; They are just sitting down here discussing "Staying on the fence", finding loopholes, carving the words to fit a haraam narrative and at one point using the example of eating the meat of swine in extreme cases as an evidence for making interest based mortgage to be permissible in extreme cases. The fact that none of them were able to state clearly if it's halal or not, creates doubts in my mind. When it comes to choosing between Halal and Haram, I would rather keep myself away from it. Allah is razik and he will give me my rizk in any other way he has willed for me. Especially if in his obedience, I am trying to keep myself away from Haram Rizk. The matter of rizk is of the utmost importance and all your other deeds are dependent on that as "Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) cited the example of a man who was on journey, and in an extremely pitiful state he raises his hands in du’a begging Allah to assist him. Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasalam) said: “…but his food, drink and clothing was from haram sources, so how could his du’a be accepted?” (Sunan Abi Dawud)" So if you eat from a bite of Haram, your prayers not accepted, I would rather stay away from Drop Shipping. Allah knows the best.

Man , i appreciate your views. The world population is around 7.5 billion and most of the trade happens online to reach customers quickly and economically . I am not having any single doubt about hadith regarding possession. If we opt trading , involving possession , it is going to be very hard to do the online trading , keeping in mind that world population is 7.5 billion and requires a smooth supply chain , from food to every essential thing required for survival. For example , if someone lives in the US and is doing online trading , want to sell something in Africa or even inside US and the supply chain is from China , imagine how difficult is to first import it in US and take possession ,after inspection , ship to Africa. . The cost will increase several times involving delays and even a lot of life saving drugs may not reach the people in due time. The same procedure will happen in Africa too by importer. Remember , Allah is "Razik" and responsible for taking care of his people to provide every essential thing for his people for their survival. Whatever information , technology etc etc is available today, the source is , God has given all these knowledge to humans. In my opinion drop shipping or these kind of trading methods if we reject , the consequences may be the most of the population may not get things in time or maybe there will be crisis of essential things. what i am trying to say is that, maybe this hadith has not understood very well and interpretation has not been done properly or maybe requires " IJTIHAD". Since the world is leading by west and the rest of the world specially Muslims have no choice except to follow them , until the Muslims give a substitute or alternative system to the world , what options Muslim world have till then ? To isolate from the existing system in my opinion , is not wise because then how you are going to correct the present system if you do not know or not involved ? .

Staying on the fence, finding loophole, carving the words to fit a haraam narrative that is my summary of this forum. Remember Allah in surah Araf tells us the story of Bani Israel - those who laid the net on Friday - did not fish on Saturday and collected the fish on Sunday - Did they fish on Saturday? No.. Were they sinful? YES and their punishment was among the harshest. Think Oh Muslim!

A salesman is an agent appointed by the company, but a dropshipper is not.

Nope, they didn't make it clear if we can or cannot participate in drop shipping I.e is it halal.
