Children should not use any technology until after age 12, better yet until after age 16 - so their eyes grow properly and their minds are not exposed to the worlds madness. :-)

@@Ahmad17378 Eyes are growing, using small phones with the lights in the eyes, especially blue light, damages them, making children need glasses. The child's eyes need to literally go outside and play sports. It makes them grow stronger. Avoid sugar rush drinks, which insulin spike the retina while it's growing (not good!). Poor light while reading books can also be harmful to growing eyes. After age 12, it is safer, but they still are growing until the teens. Laser operations can attempt to fix damaged eyes, but it doesn't always work.

Absolutely, just their parents should be more careful and control their children's usage of phone or any gadgets.

This is coming from a teenager, some kids feel embarrassed to see everyone else have some sort of a gadget but they don’t even have a phone. Besides the schools sometimes give laptops and it does the exact same thing for them. Also it’s because of these gadgets that i know islam more than my siblings. Some parents just teach a few things in the beginning when their kid is still young and then stop because they were taught by a teacher or they taught themselves and trust the kids to do the same.
