Nick welcome to the Land of the Stupids and Home of the terrorists. You said earlier that there is no terrorism right now, but if you go inside the the the army camp, you would find more terrorists than army personnel. Pakistan is a peaceful country, that's the reason why Osama Bin Laden lived in Abottabad for 10 years peacefully under the protection of Pakistan Army and ISI. Good Luck, oh and if you want to meet some terrorist, tell your hairy friend to take you up Khyber Pass and Peshawar

I flew from Lahore to Karachi in Serena Air for $160/person total. It was a last minute booking. Not bad. They even served food. Then from Karachi Airport to Nazimabad the Uber was only about $4-5 in airconditioned Uber. One guy in Lahore called Karachi the 'City for Poor People', meaning Karachi has large heart! Love your videos and your accent. And your guide Shabaz is so cool! Love his hair and accent. Love from America!

Born, raised and living in Karachi. The best part about watching your travel vlog about my country (and my city) is that we (locals) begin to appreciate goods which we dont think about or perhaps just take them for granted. Like how cheap are our taxis, transport, food etc. How friendly are our locals. I have been to some countries and based on my experience I can say locals are not half as friendly to tourists as I see here in Pakistan. Keep it up man. Love your work

This comment certainly hasn't aged well.... just yesterday a Sri Lankan general manager in Sialkot, Pakistani Punjab, was burnt alive for committing "blasphemy". All he did was order for some posters and stickers in his factory premises removed, unfortunately some of them carried the Prophet's name. That was enough to get half the town out and participate in roasting him alive. Appearances can be deceptive, and in Pakistan's case they have made into an art!

To this I give the same response that I always do; It is impossible to see everything in a country and what might be appealing or an obvious choice to someone might not be appealing to another or there may be other reasons such as time restraints, logistics, cost etc. Keep that in mind. Cheers!

Shahbaz was not wearing a blanket as some are assuming. Its a traditional shawl (a wraped cloth sheet) which men and women both wear traditionally for protection from cold. It was on trend from ancient times and not coats and cardigans like westerners wore. Though coats and cardigand are now every year but wearing these fabric shawls is a particular style of this region especially in Pakistan so people in winter season and in cold wear it. Colours and styles are different for men and women.

Nick. I love your blog but may I suggest something? I notice when using an interpreter/translator you don't speak direct to the person who they are translating for/to. You say for instance, 'Ask him if etc' as opposed to looking at the other person and asking the question direct which the translator will then do his/her job. I am not criticising as you won't know if you have not gone into this in any depth. It is courtesy to do this a mark of respect that the person who doesn't understand is still talking direct to the person. Hope this is taken in the correct manner it is intended.
