Well firstly im a girl and i like singing but i dont listen to music that much as im more into vocal rather than instrumental.,but still when i hear any music that sounds good whose lyrics are not misleading and lil bit motivational like imagine dragons(as example) For that i do listen to couple of songs and the thing is really like singing just vocally in my room, infront of my family sometimes,in front of female friends but never ever i have done it infront of a na mehram. Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection."_ Source: _Sahih al-Bukhari 5590_ | Grade: _Sahih (Authentic)_ The *BEST* Ibadah after Salah is to listen to the Quran. brother I was ex Wahhabi my all family members are Wahhabi, especially close ones however, I left the najdi cult, and become the Naqshbandi mijadidi, somehow, you mentioned the hadith which is talking about musical instruments brother, not music, Allah itself says in Quran recite Quran with melodious voice ( lahan).

میرے پیارے بھائی جس چیز کو اللہ نے حرام نہیں کرا وہ کسی کا حق نہیں کہ اسے حرام کہے ۔ حتی کہ رسولاللہ کا بھی اختیار نہیں تھا۔ اور حرام کرنے کے لئے قران کا قطعی دلالہ حکم چاہیے ۔ احادیث مبارکہ قطعی نہیں ہوتیں اسکا ایک پس منظر ہوتا ہے
