The East London Mosque & London Muslim Centre was honoured to host renowned speaker Shaykh Dr Yasir Qadhi for an event on Sunday 5th February 2023 on the topic: Infinite Light - defining moments from the Seerah.
This event highlighted various defining moments and events during the life of the Prophet ﷺ in which he showed how to navigate life’s challenges and difficulties.

May Allah Accept your works, and make it a means of acceptance and Guidance for the Ummah!
I used to work in an Emergency room. A 15 yr old boy was admitted because he was peeling off his skin with a knife. When I asked him why he was doing this he said “I feel dirty”. I called his mother who told me that her son was raped repeatedly by his own father at the age of 5 and this is how he copes with his trauma. The father was in jail for life for various crimes. Please don’t judge people with mental problems. Allah has protected you and I far beyond our imagination. Respect everyone no matter how strange they are and make dua for them and offer your friendship. Allahu Akbar.

Poor boy 😔 this is heartbreaking. This is why we need Allah because some human beings don’t have compassion for one another. may Allah make it easy on him ameen
