The good thing is, Islam Makhachev is not doing any trash talks. He is not being arrogant, he is being honest and telling what he believes. Believing on your own abilities, alongwith keeping in mind the skills of your opponent, is the key to success in any kind of sports. Simple, subtle, straightforward and focused. This is what you call a champion material. All the best Islam Makhachev 👍

Warrior genes brought 1 champion since 2012. That champion also is in top 5 MOST EXTREME WEIGHT CUTTERS in UFC ever. And that same champ took 3 years to barely defend it 3 times. Crazy how land of warriors brought only 1 dude who cheated on last weigh ins, is cutting extreme amounts of weight and barely fought once per every year.

Khabib got suspended after 229 for a year after 242 the pandemic hit he was scheduled to fight on 249. This is the reason for his delays between the TD, also khabib ain't just a champ he retired undefeated. Most dominant LW in history of the ufc. Lastly you need to make top 100 extreme weight cuts, just by example michael chandler revealed himself he's 191 ar fight night, khabib never went above 176, Also talking about missing weight, Charles lost his belt cuae he missed weight, so calm down, many fugbt3r cut up to 20-30 pounds for a fight

Islam man you can just hear the confidence in his voice and his been training for this fight his whole life. It's going to be hard to stop a man that is determined and focus on his goal. I don't think Charles going to be ready for Islam. Because Islam will need to be physically and mentally prepared for Islam. Islam is so well rounded in all areas barely making a mistake. *Brett needs to do the Islam interviews in person and preferably outside walking or in the gym in order to bring more energy on screen. in fact, next interview in the lead up to the fight, have a horse there lol. It's so amazing that an mma fighting business, which initially has American and European champions , who excel in all forms of mma Except grappling and wrestling are now taken over by asian and east countries having that skill. Khabib has big vision about this sport i believe.

Standing will suck cuz u will not get to see wrestling, submission and choking, standing fights have more aggressiveness but that starts to seem like boxing then, go and see Israel adsenaya , such a boring fight it was with cononnier . But khabib and Islam have some sort of standing fights too atleast. Kamaru Usman is the best in that sense , cuz he has grappling and striking both.

I think anyone who understands wrestling and grappling to a decent level knows its correct that he's the favourite against Oliveira. Top pressure. Plus you only need to watch Oliveira's fights against wrestlers like Kevin Lee and see. Felder also has half decent grappling and gave Oliveira problems. Oliveira is not as good off his back as people think. He's elite everywhere else though.

I'll just say this, that this "trashtalk" is by comparison the tamest one I've ever witnessed for a title fight no less Yet for me, what irked me most that the Oliveira fans treated like the fighters have some "heat" between them I've seen none ! It's all just small insults, small pokes, both fighters seems to respect each other Language barrier much, too easily butthurt, or most likely information bias I guess

I think Khabib is the greatest fighter ever, and nobody reads opponents better than him, and Makhachev trains with Khabib makes him the most dangerous among all lightweights, I believe Charles threat is always there in stand up fight, but on the ground it's absolutely impossible for Charles to beat Makhachev, All in all we will find out in October.
