Ustadh Adnan Rashid conducts a cordial dialogue with Sir Anthony Buzzard, one of the living pioneers of Unitarian Christianity. Sir Anthony has authored a very powerful refutation of the Doctrine of the Trinity. His book is titled "The Doctrine of the Trinity: Christianity's Self Inflicted Wound". Unitarian Christians reject the Trinity and consider the doctrine to be a corruption of the pure monotheistic message of Jesus Christ. Sir Anthony agrees with much of the Islamic thought, while he also disagrees with the Muslim view on the alleged crucifixion of Jesus. His book is a must read for anyone interested in the historical development of the Doctrine of the Trinity.

I'm a Unitarian Christian in Kenya. I've been trying to set up a mission school with great difficulty, mostly financial. I pray that God will see me through. Great discussion here. Sir Adnan Rashid is very knowledgeable on Unitarian Christian thought than many theological thinkers. Keep it going gentlemen.

@Sage of Synergism Jesus created a bird out of clay with god's permission just as Moses created a snake out of wood with god's permission... God did not appear to moses but talked to moses from a fire. GOD was not the fire as he was not Jesus.

@Sage of Synergism This is sementics only... Turning a wood into a snake or Creating a bird out of clay is the same... Both of them did it by GOD'S PERMISSION!!!!!!.... Why do you miss this part of the verse which clearly rejects Jesus as GOD? God does not need permission... Prophet of god need the permission. Even creating from nothing will not make them god because they can do it only with GOD'S permission....God can give creative powers to his prophets. And we read the quran holistically.. Jesus being god is denied by the quran, dont your hate preachers from where you learn this kind of arguments miss this too ?

@Sage of Synergism where does it say no one can creat in surah 6? No one can creat out of nothing... like god... No the quran denys the divinity of Jesus... You know it dont you? Jesus is but a messenger of God.. Never read it ? of course not. It is sementic because Moses turning the wood into a snake is just like Jesus creating or turning a bird out of clay.... Any thought of the part you miss always ? "THE PERMISSION OF GOD" part in the same verse ? So it's god who creates..not Jesus. As the bible says, god did trough him.... If you have nothing else to reply ? Then i will no more waste my time with you....

Our master is Yahusha Ha Mashiach. He is the preeminent son of Elohim. He is a son of man. He is also the only human conceived of the breath of Elohim. The rest of us children of Elohim were born again by being immersed or "baptized" by His breath. He is completely UNIQUE, with his own nature. He is not YHWH, the One True Elohim.... nor is he a normal man. He is the 2nd Adam but unlike the 1st, he succeeded. The consequence of his victory over the wages of sin, by being sinless, is what we put our faith in. He is the last Passover lamb. He redeemed us back to the Father. Praise Yah. He is our High priest after the order of Melchizedek. He is the True Vine. All new things come through him. He is the first born of the new creation. All things were and are made for him and on his behalf by his Father, YHWH. He is given all authority by his God and Father, YHWH. He will reign on the throne and then, in the end, he submits to the Father.
I have never seen such a pleasant and respectful lighthearted discussion between a Christian and Muslim-Of course it helps that Unitarians like Arians are closer to the original Christians, without the pagan trinity baggage.

Furthermore, Jesus said,”…’I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'" [John 20:17] The Father of Jesus is also the father of the believers. Also, for your information Melchizedek the Priest supposedly is "Without father or mother..." [Hebrews 7:3 KJV]

So they do exist! I have always wondered "why isnt there a christian sect today that live like the Jesus of the gospels?" I.e, no trinity and a focus on the ACTUAL preaching of Jesus. I guess the reason i dont find them is because they are minority that gets covered up by the trinitarians. I dont think the trinitarians would like for these unitarians to be known otherwise many chtistians will convert to unitarianism.

I am a trinitarian and I have no problems with Unitarian Christains. If christians want to convert to unitarian is up to them.

@Sage of Synergism not necessarily, you have to believe in Jesus Christ as a savoir and you will end up in heaven. Unitarian christians believe that your sins can be wiped by the father and you still need to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
As a disciple of Yahusha Ha Mashiach, I have to pause and listen to this Muslim man explain the nature of my Master more completely than 90% of self proclaimed Christians. Anthony is right on the money of course. Praise Yah. Shalom.

Read: For Muslims who ridicules other religions, I learned this the hard way, may Allah SWT forgives our ignorance. I suggest that we learn from this dialogue that we can have differences but still talk in a respectful and kind manners to understand one another. Listen to what Allah SWT has to say about those who ridicules other people's religions, Al-An'am 6:108: "And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do." Subhanallah, and glorified be to Allah, the Lord of all that exists, Who does whatever He wills and there is nothing like Him among His creation. Nothing He has made can encompass Him, and He is the Exalted, the Almighty, Who is utterly unlike all that He has created. Heaven and earth cannot contain Him, but He is the One, the Self-Sufficient Master, Who is far above any comparison with His creation.

Sir Anthony got it right! “If there was no crucifixion, there is no Christianity.” Allah says, “they didn’t kill him nor crucify him, but it was made to appear so.” Therefore, for Muslims there is no Christianity, there was and is only Islam. Something that maybe Anthony and Adnan could hopefully discuss in a future “dialogue”.

Adnan Rasheed beautiful exposition, beautiful discussion, this is the most civil and friendly discussion I've ever witnessed between a Muslim and the first Unitarian Christian. I think Aman could've address more to the responses he made but since the discussion was limited and I don't think it would made a lot of Justice. Our approach to Gospel's literature is similar to the literature of Hadith. We do not reject/accept everything in totality. It's like ready and judge everything case by case.

I think our ummah has scandalously ignored interfaith to our and other religions' detriment. It's important to note that we've been told that the closest to us in religion are the Christians- even closer the Unitarians who affirm the wahdaniyah of the Jews, early Christians and Muslims of course.

Their doctrine is same as Islam. The Unitarian Christians were the first British Muslims.

Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’” So you can't understand the meaning of this God the creator is to be worshipped. Not prophet Jesus This has been a constant problem with Christians throughout history they love to add what they think he might have ment you force prophet Jesus in to your and church fathers thinking. If you have time I suggest you read The Gospel of Barnabas this I believe would come very close to the Gospel of Jesus peace be upon Jesus.

See the full translation of the ayyah below. Then repeat what you just wrote if you are honourable and trustworthy. Surah 5-ayaah 110 [Sahih international Translation] [The Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the Pure Spirit and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My permission; and when you brought forth the dead with My permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from [killing] you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, "This is not but obvious magic." Note: Key statements is “with my permission”. Without this permission from Allah nothing in the universe is able to function, not even the prophets.

@@instinto8710 Yeah exactly. I consider myself as a Unitarian Christian but I enjoy listening to other view points, especially Muslims because like them I only believe in One God. This chat was really good and informative. I would say I side with Sir Anthony Buzzard on his assertion that the old testament foretold the coming Messiah and his punishment to defeat death for humanity. The Muslim speaker made some great points also. Definitely gave me something to think about.
Mark 3:35 those who do God’s will are my brothers, sisters and mothers. Muslims ( submitters to God’s will) are jesus(as) brothers, sisters and mothers.

Christians like you don't understand that plurality doesn't convey the idea of the Trinity. Try to study English grammar and learn what is Royal Plural and editorial plural. If a Sovereign or a news editor uses plural that doesn't make them more than one. You sound desperate.

@Sage of Synergism The first one is the royal "We" not plural one The second thing about Jesus creating if you read the whole verse you'll find "in the name of God" which means that Jesus by himself can do nothing which is indeed in the bible The third point is absurd, this never happened God "showed his majesty" on the mountain and it smashed and that's it as a sign of Almighty God. No jesus is found in all that. Sorry, don't try to impose your unexplicable, irrational ideas on my Quran that destroys the trinity when it says "Those who says Allah is three are disbelievers"

Is it really acceptable to common sense to hold the view that Satan would ask people to do good, to be moral and virtuous, to worship none but God, to not follow Satan or his whispers, and to avoid and struggle against evil? To hold such a view is clearly repugnant to reason, as Satan has only undermined himself through this means if he is the author. Even the Bible attests: “And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but is coming to an end.” (Mark 3:26)[2] This argument applies to any “Satanic forces”, be they “evil spirits”, “deceitful aliens”, etc

They decieve themselves and the ignorant people who don't read out of arrogance. No book in the whole world humiliates the devil as does the Quran. We start our recitation and prayers asking God to protect us against him and we call him "the stoned one". The only book that calls him "The cursed one" Even in some verse he is called "سفيه" which is someone who has lost his mind and started acting arrogantly against the one much greater than him He's a weakling in the Quran who has no ability to affect the believers or sway them

@David Lynch Absolutely not The verse meaning "the best of planners" because the verse speaks about saving Jesus.....The wicked plan and Allah plans and Allah is the best of planners Because in another verse the word is used followed by "the evil" And the verse says "And indeed the evil planning only torments those who do it" which is a classification of the type of "planning" The ones against God Almighty evily plan whilst Allah plans for the good and Allah is the best of planners because he is the one who created them in the first place and thus is aware of their wickedness

(Revelation 12:1) Do we believe, Sun ever goes down literally? No! "Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?"(Deuteronomy 11:30) The above verses from Bible are NOT literal! Have we ever literary seen the thing “HESITATION”? No! “..and they find (verb: wajad) no hesitation in their hearts..” (Quran 59:9) This verb in Arabic doesn’t mean ONLY literal seeing, but “perceiving”. Quran was very clear about that it was a description of zul-qarnains travel experience.  Source: Edward Lane's Lexicon (downloaded from Murky Waters) THE TRAVELLER (ZUL-QARNAIN) ENJOYED A SUNSET DURING HIS JOURNEY: Zul-qarnain observed a sunset (as we observe sunset at sea beach) during his journey. The same verbe “ wajada" was used, which means he perceived it or it appeared to him, which was then described in Quran In poetic language (such as when we say “The moon hid behind cloud”, it only appears so to us.) They ask thee concerning Zul-qarnain. Say, "I will rehearse to you something of his story"…One way he followed, Until, when he reached the setting of the sun (“ maghrib"), he found (“wajadaha”) it set in a spring of murky water :…Then followed he (another) way…..Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found (“wajadaha”) it rising on a people for whom We had provided no covering protection against the sun…Then followed he (another) way…Until, when he reached (a tract) between two mountains, he found (“wajada”), beneath them, a people who scarcely understood a word. (Quran 18:83-93) So, zul-qarnain traveled three ways. He traveled West and enjoyed a sunset in water body. Then he traveled another direction and found the Sun rising on people. Then he travelled a third way and found a tribe with unknown language living beside two mountains. If you don't take these verse as “perceived”, but literal “seeing”, then when he went to his second way and found sun rising on people, is that also literal??  This optical illusion of the sun's "disappearing into the sea" was explained by Quran commentator Razi who quoted from Quran commentary (now lost) by Abu `Ali al-Jubba’i. He was a Mu'tazili scholar who lived around 225 to 292 AH. So, this is not a new phenomenon among Muslim commentator to take this verse metaphorically. All later scholars born around after 600 years of prophet Muhammad (Razi, Qurtubi, Kathir, Badwai) explained this as view of zul-qarnain. So, there is no way to think that,,Quran told that Sun set in a spring, all early Muslims believe that and they have changed their opinion with advancement of science!!! GOD DOESN’T DESCRIBE-A PLACE WHERE SUN SETS: “Maghrib” is not literal place where sun sets, but it means the direction of sun’s disappearance. It is used many times in Quran. In the same chapter we see the use of this word while describing people of the cave: And you see the sun when it rises, it visits their cave from the right, and when it sets (same root word), it touches them from the left, while they are in an enclosure from it. That is from the signs of God. Whoever God guides is the guided one, and whoever He misguides, you will not find for him any ally to give direction. (Quran 18:17) And you were not on the western slope (same root word), when We decreed the command to Moses. You were not a witness. (Quran 28:44) So, there is no one specific “maghrib” or literal setting point of sun REVEALED by God, in Quran! ZUL-QARNAIN DIDN'T REACH PLACE OF SUN SET: Some people say, Quran says that zul-qarnain travelled until he reached the setting place of Sun, which is completely wrong. The presence of time adverb (“idha”) ensures it means, zul-qarnain saw this view when he reached a certain place AT THE TIME OF SUNSET, NOT he saw this view when he reached place of sunset. “..One way he followed, Until, when (“idha”) he reached…” AYNIN HAMIATIN: It doesn’t mean only “pool” or “spring” but a gushing water body with muddy appearance. Water In still pool never remain muddy due to the deposition of silt that produces clear water In surface. Muslim researchers gave various opinion about the identity of Zul-qarnain and what water body he met such as Aegean Sea, Black Sea or Hwan Ho river of China, which is literary called “Yellow River” for it's muddy appearance (you can read this last opinion in page 12-13 of attached very interesting paper about zul-qarnain). Sometimes the Yellow River is poetically called the "Muddy Flow" in Chinese language. I am personally not bothered about the location, as I am not bothered about location where Noah got down from Ark or where Adam first set his feet on earth or where Mosess parted the sea

@Talhah Haq I disagree. I have zero problems with the Quran and I believe it to be revelation. I have many many issues with the Hadith. If it wasn't for the Hadith I would of coverted a long time ago.

Lemme given an example, there are many fully authentic Ahadith and they are considered authentic for a reason. And there are many unauthentic ahadith as well and they are considered unauthentic for a reason.

I wish Adnan would have asked a very relevant question to the Unitarian. According to the trinity doctrine, the crucifixion is central to the divine sacrifice to forgive humanity of their sins. Unitarians do not believe in the divinity of Jesus, so what is the point of crucifixion for them?

@@instinto8710 The Bible prophesied the coming of Prophet Mohammed in Isaiah 42:1-13 and actually the whole chapter it’s self, especially (1-17). I’ll explain how. 1. “Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. --- “Servant”, “My elect”, “my soul delights” are all names of Mohammed (PBUH). Three of the names of Prophet Muhammad are mentioned in this verse and they are “servant”, “my elect” my soul delights”. Prophet Muhammad is known as God’s Servant, in Arabic “abd - ullah” (عبدالله) as mentioned in this Quranic verse in it’s original Arabic text and with s translation , and I’ll put a parenthesis around “servant” so you can google translate it if you doubt me: تَبٰـرَكَ الَّذِىۡ نَزَّلَ الۡـفُرۡقَانَ عَلٰى (عَبۡدِهٖ) لِيَكُوۡنَ لِلۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ نَذِيۡرَا ۙ “Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His (Servant) that he may be to the worlds a warner -“ (Quran 25:1) “My elect” means “chosen one” is “Mustafa” in Arabic (مصطفى). This is another of the names of Prophet Muhammad, here is it in the Quranic verses: اللَّهُ (يَصْطَفِي) مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ (رُسُلًا) وَمِنَ النَّاسِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ (75) “Allah (chooses) from the angels (messengers) and from the people. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing.” (Quran 22:75) The one in whom God’s soul ‘delights’ means “beloved of God” is ‘Habibullah’ (حبيب الله) in Arabic, this is not found in the Quran but it is indeed one of the names and titles Mohammed is called by us and by Allah (from the ones mentioned in the Quran are his titles from Allah). en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_and_titles_of_Muhammad ^^^Here’s all the names and titles, you can check for “Habib”, “Mustafa” and “Abd-Allah”. All is mentioned, and all is also mentioned in Isaiah 42:1. Now it looks like a coincidence but carry on reading and you’ll see more proof, and inshallah you learn more about Mohammed and how great he was. Also, this verse is usually thought to be the prophecy of Jesus, but it’s not. I’ll prove why. In the end of the verse it says “He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles”. (Gentiles: one who is not Jewish or not belonging to a religious community.) And we all know that Jesus was preaching to the “lost sheep of Israel”. 2. He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. ---- “He will not cry out” meaning he will not complain about the duty given to him by God. Mohammed never complained, even when being a prophet made the pagan Arabs of Madina attack him and humiliate him. Even when he was called a “magician” he carried on preaching Islam with a smile, and never once did he complain. 3. A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth. 4. He will not fail nor be discouraged, Till He has established justice in the earth; And the coastlands shall wait for His law.” ---- Again, like I said. He will not complain and he will not fail or be discouraged- even when the people of Madina did despicable things to Mohammed, one of which was dumping camel intestines on his back. And Mohammed was very forgiving and patient. If you want I could send you lectures on Mohammed and what problems he faced and how he dealt with them and he was a GREAT man and prophet. 5. Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it: 6. “I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles. 7. To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house. 8. I am the Lord, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images. ---- Mohammed’s goal as a prophet was to save the people of Madina and to teach them that worshipping idols (carved images) is wrong. He preaches Islam and told them that God cannot be something the people of Madina created (from stone, etc). 9. Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them.” 10. Sing to the Lord a new song, And His praise from the ends of the earth, You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, You coastlands and you inhabitants of them! ---- Not sure what the new song is but I believe that “new song” is the “Quran” which contains the laws of Islam. It is “sang” all over the world today by many many Muslims, “and his praise form the ends of the earth”. 11. Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice, The villages that (Kedar) inhabits. Let the inhabitants of (Sela) sing, Let them shout from the top of the (mountains). --- Now, Kedar. What’s Kedar Who is Kedar? Genesis 25:13 Second son of Ishmael 1esa1.wordpress.com/2011/01/09/kedar-are-the-peoples-of-arabia/ Kedar are the people of Arabia. Now God says “Sela”, to narrow it down to one specific location... Sela is a mountain called سلع in Arabic- it is located in Saudi Arabia, which is Madina, the place Mohammed had Gabriel descend to him. Coincidence? All nicknames of Mohammed mentioned, Kedar and Sela mentioned to specify that this Prophet will preach to the people of Kedar, located next to Sela which is Madina. Mohammed was sent to the Arab pagans/idol worshippers to teach them about Islam. 12. Let them give glory to the Lord, And declare His praise in the coastlands. 13. The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man; He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war. He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud; He shall prevail against His enemies. ---- Mohammed in the end prevailed against his enemies (the pagan Arabs of Madina). This is not about Jesus for he didn’t prevail against any enemy, he was “killed” by his enemies. Please, before you completely reject Islam- please please take this chapter and study it. OUR God tells you Mohammed is a prophet for you as well. As he is a prophet for everyone, jews and non-jews. He is a prophet for all of mankind. The Quran is the last testament. There is no God but Allah, and Mohammed is Allah’s final messenger. May Allah guide us both Ameen

The arabic word Allah means God (the one and only true GOD who created the universe) This word Allah is a name for god, which is used by arabic speaker, both Arab Muslims and Arab Christians.This word can't be used to designate anything other than the one true GOD . It is not any nicknames like Jesus and Krishna. Islam means submitting ur will to one and only God. Islam describes God as a being of infinite and inexhaustible power and who posseses intentionality or will. He has no human, animal or any finite attributes, forms, natures or appetizers. ISLAM teaches that God is genderless, does not experience tide ness or 👉 ignorance 👈 and exists without peer. There are numerous verses in the Quran that perfectly describes and tells it(the oneness of GOD). Also a surah defines and makes it clear perfectly. Quran 112:1-4 1 ) Say He is God , one and only 2 ) The self sufficient , eternal refuge. 3 ) He doesn't reproduced nor was he reproduced 4 ) Nothing is equivalent to Him. Which means he is without partner because if there were other infinite gods, they would all limit each other and all would not be infinite or Gods at all. This is the Islamic conception of God. A pure indivisible oneness. A cause initiate for all things , a divine unity behind the multitude of created things. And it is the only explanation that is without contradictions and circular reasoning and does not need to appeal any mystery to hide false, which simply doesn't have. Islam's massage to mankind is to avoid the error of mixing , the infinite and the finite together and creating false idols by attributing to limited and finite things, the attribute that belong only to the creator and visa versa. Instead Islam asked mankind to recognize the infinite alone as the ultimate creator of all things who is separate from his creation and not like it. Now is this a God peculiar in Islam? No. Anyone on earth today or in history who worships the infinite unlimited creator who rules all things into existence and doesn't resemble any finite things or creature worships the same god we do, whatever religion they call themselves. Islam teaches that it is not something new, but many reintegration of the same massage that has been repeatedly sent down to mankind from different times and places but u seen commonalities any many religions though out history. There are four aspect that only Islams concept of god can ultimately and soundly explain. These aspects are change, matter, finitude and specificity. Al-Qur'an 3:64 “Say (O Muhammad SAW): "O people of the Scripture: Come to a word (God Name Allah) that is similar between us and you, that we worship none but Allah (the true GOD Alone), and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah. Does God change???God promised a Messiah nott himself to be killed on a cross by his creation.

@@foxosama5646 isaiah 53 talks about crucifixion. God cannot die that is why son Jesus Christ came as a man to take our sins. No man s blood is pure, the only solution is for God to come down as man being sinless and pure lamb gave up his flesh as sacrifice. Isaiah 9:6 mighty God being born, Micah talks about the place and many prophesies. Bible speaks for itself with reference to OT and NT that jesus is the God.

I just had an AMAZING discussion with a Muslim. He was so knowledgeable, patient and kind. He knew how to have a conversation, how to let others talk, and seemed to genuinely be trying to listen to what I had to say. I’m thankful for Christians like Anthony Buzzard who patiently try to engage in constructive and friendly dialogue with Muslims about what the Bible really says, and I’m thankful for Adnan and the Muslims of the world willing to talk do the same with us and hopefully enlighten us on what the Quran says beyond the stereotypes about it. May the truth win out, and may anybody seeking the truth receive it That being said, so far from what I’m hearing I think the big issue is the crucifixion. Knowledgeable Muslims seem to be ok with Christians using the term “Son of God” in its proper context. But the issue of the cross seems like a non-negotiable. Almost the entirety of the New Testament supports it. The Gospels, Acts, Paul, Hebrews, Peter, the Letter of John, Revelation. It would be incredible that all these would be forgeries or just wrong. Though Adnan is correct that in a strict sense we cannot prove who wrote a lot of the New Testament or verify with certainty it’s accuracy of transmission in its most earliest of stages. That’s not proof of its corruption or in corruption but simply an honest statement worth considering. Secondly, the eschatological hope. I’m still a bit unclear. But it sounds like Islam believes in the inherent immortality of the soul, and therefore of humans, and also in going to heaven to live as a reward or being in a place of fire but consciously and potentially forever. This seems contradictory toward the idea and message of the the Kingdom on Earth and of Jesus statements that only his sheep will be eternal. John calls the failure to receive this eternal life at judgement after the resurrection the 2nd death, I.e. “the second time you will die” Edit: I of course have to wonder why, if Jesus wasn’t really crucified or killed through it, he wouldn’t just tell us disciples about this in his post crucifix appearances. Even after that God, or the Holy Spirit, or Angels, why wouldn’t they have informed the disciples about this? Why 600 years later inform the world?

Adnan inshaallah read what ulema has mentioned about ruh in tafseer ibn kathir for example, and dr Antony is talking nafs. These are detailed matters that should not be rushed.

@@mriaz5228 no akhi, he left out explaining what ruh is and left out half of the aya. Quran 17:85 Sahih International: And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about the soul. Say, "The soul is of the affair of my Lord. And mankind have not been given of knowledge except a little." He said as though we have been given no knowledge of it, now go read what the tafseer say about ruh and nafs in tafseer ibn kathir. Every son of Adam make mistakes and I am advising my older brother, so be silent instead akhi, we're talking about deen here

1:36:25 the ayat in Quran about rooh (soul ) continues and includes the meaning that the humanity is given but very little knowledge about soul after Allah says that it is from the decree of your Rabb (Lord, God).

I have a lot of respect of these christians
The quran says clearly that both Jewish and Christians received the holly book which are God's word, quran also says that God's word can not be changed. Jezus said that who ever would change a letter in God's word would be punished (don't remember how exactly). Perhaps there are mistakes and misinterpretation in some translations of Bible but as you can see learning from unitarias you can reach the source of original version - which means always find the original words of God.
