Isklar Norseman 2013 - Blowing in the Wind
Спорт
The Official Isklar Norseman Xtreme Triathlon 2013 film.
They were expecting cold water. It was not. They were expecting rain. They got it. They were expecting wind. But not this much.
What they got was Isklar Norseman Xtreme Triathlon. The only thing that remains the same is that every year is different! And hard, very hard.
Update 20. Sep: The music that was written for the video is now available to buy.

one days i'll be there too !
My new fav you tube vid all time. Thanx
The emotional release after reaching the summit says it all.My mind can only imagine what went through their brains as they slowly over came the course. The journey of life is so similar to this challenge but the sad truth is that life is some times more demanding. Great video and scenery, thank you for posting this.
Best Triathlon video ever seen. I guess Isklar is one of hardest races in the world. I keep it in mind for the challenge of my life. Thanks for sharing with us
Amazing Norseman movie - as usual! I got goosebumps, I cried, I laughed, and mostly I felt in awe of the unbelievable determination and grit that these athletes have. I thought the movie depicted that perfectly, and I have seen the race live. Some beautiful scenic shots, and more detail on the run section than last year, which i thought was an improvement. Great job!
1:20 face plant :) Hardcore race!! Well done to all who finished.
Once again an excellent video production of an extremely hard endurance race, this year in very tough weather conditions. Well done!
so many thanks!
So awesome!
How awesome is something that shows annoying weather, overall cold and crying people and it still makes me want to compete in the race!
Great video… It reflects perfectly the heartbeat and the spirit of the race.

Amazing race, I've watched the 2012 video many times. Could you please tell your video editor to take it easy on the coffee before work!! You can't actually get a sense of the race inbetween the 0.5sec clips and changes between fast and slow mo!!!

Yes?
one of my clients used to train for this by specialising on one discipline over a period of three to six months employing mindfulness and special breathing and meditation methods even before she met me; there are now tool available from the far East to conserve one's energy and control one's body with mind; she only attempted it after three years of systematic training; very different from swiss man or kona; if you have not been, you may not believe.
Tumbs up for Panorama Hardanger and Panorama Norge for aerial video from rc controlled multirotor :)
may prove extremely demanding even for an experienced triathlonist and any endurance athlete; unless you are like a fish in cold/natural waters and 'enjoy' Motbakkeløp run/fell running you should not even dream about it; as I coached several athletes in extreme performance and mindful endurance I can also confirm, partly based on my medical experience, that it is the people with naturally strong constitution (with outdoor endurance sport experience) who celebrate most successes, thanks to their bone structure, efficiency of blodd circulation and lungs capacity supported by strong kidneys allowing them to withstand the weather and exertion of body heat and energy over such a long period of time.
