Isidor - Children of Cyberpunk (Dark Synthwave / Cyberpunk)
Музыка
Video edit by / morehodmaxz
The journey Lord of Synth began is far from over. In these turbulent times, we’ll find Lord of Synth traveling through space.
Destination: Avalon.
Avalon is a planet in the Kronos system. It’s also very hard to get there using regular means. This, however, will not deter our lord. Using all of his skills in space travel, he finds himself in a wormhole called Shadow Road. As gloomy as its name, this wormhole is nothing to joke about. It’s told that only the most skilled can navigate through it. Lord of Synth will take us through this wormhole. We’ll get to experience the instability and conflicts of this mighty path.
As all tunnels, this one also has and end. At the end we’ll be met with the magnificent sight of Avalon. Upon arriving, Lord Of Synth will meet a gun expert called Photon Jack. Jack gets easily confused by others thinking he is Mad Max, both because of his looks and his wild temper. Together, Lord of Synth and Photon Jack will embark on a journey. The end goal is the annihilation of The Forces Of Chaos. During their travels, we’ll see them meeting some crazy characters that will join their ranks in the fight. One of these characters are Children of Cyberpunk. They are an elite force that does the dirty work for Crystal City, Avalons’ central city. Most fear them, but our lord needs all the help he can get. Let’s take the step and follow along with our heroes while they go through ups and downs in the battle for greater good.

This might be one of the most beautiful pairings of a killer soundtrack and kickass visuals ever.
let's be honest, the animation of anime from 80s-90s looks really good, perhaps because of Japan's bubble economy at the time so they have a huge budget. Their animation always similar to Guts manga, by that, I mean very detailed, not simple, so many things that move even for one scene too, and the shot/camera movement is also great/not like a stop motion/linear movement like most(not all) anime today. It basically has a modern camera/live-action movie type of fluid movement, especially the action, but anime.

yes the bubble economy and the advent of VHS direct to sales opened up a new business opportunity. However once the decade was over it became clear no one was actually making money doing this. Which is why all the high quality OVA stuff mostly dried up.

Great anime, at least for me. Especially - original jp version. Great times with a lot of fun and awesome stuff.. The music and the graphic were complimenting each other making me watch it a lot. Isidor is quite a choice for the action scenes. The '80s Guy always hit the nail with those AMV. Right now I cannot listen Dan Terminus - Digital Onslaught, Perturbator - I am the Night without imagining scenes from Ninja Scroll and The night eye Goku respectively)

It surpises me to see how well this futurism has aged. It still looks like something more advanced than modern days (although definitely 80s in looks), instead of looking outdated like some visions of the future, even more recent ones.
