Is that the case nowadays? Well whenever I think I think of Interracial porn I just think about black and white porn regardless of the combination. As a black man I can give you the reason why. The adult industry is piled with white female talent and they pretty much run the show. Black male stars by default have to work with the white female talent to create a name for themselves, get exposure and increase their value. Because of this black men get use to seeing this dynamic. This is the same for black women, they get more exposure working with the white talent male & female. So it’s rare to see a black male & female work together, it happens but at a much lesser rate. Not gonna lie too, the black female talent half the time look rundown, like somebody’s aunt doing adult videos. The industry is terrible at screening attractive black women.

Interestingly I’ve noticed a new branding of it called Queen of spades (playing off an old racist slur) for white girls who fuck black guys. It’s weird because I always ask them, what would be the name for queens who do Latino dudes or Arab dudes. They weirdly get silent when they they have to think of the names / slurs they’d have to use.

This doesn't sound like an issue with the performers. This sounds like an issue with the consumers. If a performer's marketability reduces as a result of performing with black men, that's a monetary reality. So maybe the answer if for black consumers to refuse to consume the work of any performer who doesn't work with black talent early in her/his career arc.

I appreciate Isaiah's presentation and how polished and articulate he is. He's carrying on the torch of Sean Michaels and Lexington Steele who knew how to carry themselves with distinction. However I idagree. If a performer is prejudice then whether or not you have it on a questionaire will not matter. They'll not work with you because you are Black, period. That's on them. Sure there's racisim in porn and everywhere else. Keep it moving and make great content. Plenty of IR to go around, fortunately.

I fully understand that there are going to be women (and know, this is all about white women...) who won't want to work with certain men. That makes sense. But adult is a JOB. This is a tough one plus I'm on the outside looking in. When I started watching adult films there was basically 3 black men that were featured; Ray Victory, F.M.Bradley and Bill Dee (can we actually count Billy Dee??) Adult industry is like America in the 50s. That's the mindset. And even today it's rare to see black people in a lead unless it's produced by black people. I can't watch any vivid products or women that won't do interracial. The major productions that have black people in it, seems to be working on stereotypes and seems cheaply made plus the films/videos focus on the women. (Of course). It's laughable when you have women on their way out or old and come back and now do interracial. Doing interracial didn't hurt amber lynn or Abella Danger. Alexis Texas with that body by no interracial, I've never watched her. Refuse to. Ginger lynn...can't watch. And brothers will spend money for a good cause. If there's a few quality products by top companies featuring black people, the industry will change, until then it's a novelty.

As @ fat boy stated it's out there. Way back in the day (70's & 80's), it was a lot more common to see white males banging black females. There were actresses like Ebony Ayes, Angel Kelly, Nina de Ponca and Dominique Simone that were in as many scenes with white males as with blacks. There were Very few white females that were even interested, let alone perform with, black males. That's why I have mad respect for Nina Hartley. She was the first white actress to consistently work with black male talent and from my understanding didn't always take the extra pay that they gave white females to do those scenes. Even today, if you do your research, you'll find a plethora of new black females that are doing scenes mostly with white males versus their black male counterparts. The fact is, because WM/BF scenes have been done for so long, the genre has become boring to the average porn viewer. As far as the "IR" trend, as the old saying goes "This too shall pass." When the industry stops trying to convince new white female talent that it's in their best interest to hold off on doing "IR" scenes early, when it can take out questions like, "would you do interracial scenes", when it can give WF performers the same pay for scenes with BM as with WM, then the lustre of that genre will be less glorified and "IR" will become just as boring.

Bottom line is if black folks and specifically black men didn't have their own categories, we may not get any awards cuz there's no way white folks are going to vote Lex Steele over Peter North in the facial category for instance, whereas an interracial seems Lex is Undisputed King

Black male talent probably wouldn't be nearly as in-demand without the popularity of the IR category, which is problematic given that category is popular because of racism in the US where IR is seen as "taboo." Black female performers aren't so lucky and they're extremely undervalued/underbooked and rarely achieve the popularity of white female performers. IMO, someone like Nia Nacci should be as popular as Lana Rhoades given how gorgeous she is and what a good performer she is, but she's not. So there's still definitely a racism problem in porn, though it's really just reflective of racism in society in general.
