It is interesting to me that there are almost no negative comments on your videos. Such a thing is very rare on KZread. Everyone seems to truly and honestly come simply to watch a beautiful piece of wood be turned into a beautiful piece of furniture (or art, if you believe as I do) by a gifted artist and craftsman. The comments alone are one of the reasons this (along with Paul Sellers' channel) is one of my favorite places on the internet. Please continue to inspire us with your wonderful videos of your magnificent projects.

I always love when I see a new video put out. I'm so happy this channel is staying pure and not putting out content just to put out content talking about sponsors more than the project. This is why I will always keep coming back.

I have been "binge-watching" Ishitani video's here on KZread since I discovered them a week ago. I find myself at a loss trying to think of the right adjectives that do justice to these cinematic art pieces. I love Shiro, and the videography by Chie is superb and reminds me of Kurosawa. But the artistic craftsmanship of Natsuki Ishitani is beyond brilliant. Thank you!

How I missed this! Every single video of Ishitani is a cheered moment of contemplation. The rigorous design and meticulous execution shows a respect almost religious with the wood. And I have also a profound admiration for Chie's video making sensibility, with its perfect angles and impeccable lights. And Shiro is the most lovely quality inspector ever. Arigato.

Austere, elegant, and simple. Precise hand-cut joinery with minimal fasteners. No power sanders, a jack-plane and elbow grease instead. No background distractions, just focus. No pretense, no cutting corners. This man is a true craftsman and embodies the spirit of Japanese woodworking. Subbed.

I just watched your Oak Wall Shelves video. As always, your work is very refine and pleasing to the eye. I learn a lot from watching your videos. Some techniques are small and simple. Others are very intricate. But today, I realize that perhaps the greatest lesson for me, from all your videos is: relax, take a break, and enjoy nature. It makes going back to my woodworking projects more enjoyable and it erases some frustration from my lack of skill. Thanks for showing me how to enjoy woodworking from a technical and emotional perspective.
