I don't know that much about japanese culture, but it makes me kinda sad that it seems like it's still a little difficult to talk about sexuality openly in Japan ... In the end, ones sexuality doesn't change a thing about the person and it should be someones own choice if they want to be open about it or not. Other people suspecting things and asking seems kinda pressuring and as I said, in the end it shouldn't matter at all. Sexuality doesn't define a person. It doesn't make them "different". Love is love. I didn't mean to get all sappy and emotional, I've just been thinking about this and wanted to get this off my chest. (I am in no way implying anything about the actors or anyone else, so please don't get me wrong :))

yeah you’re right although tmk (i’m not japanese but i researched this a while back for some reason??) they don’t really get super personal with any kind of romance anyway so i think that’s partly why :) there’s a video with someone asking people in japan what their view on homosexuality is, and almost all of them said they think it’s fine so i think the reluctance to talk about it is just bc they’re not as open about anything as some other places are :)

@@itsmexoxurmom yes exactly 🙌 i always appreciate it when people also look into the culture :) yeah as a japanese i agree that we don’t meddle into other’s personal things/views, we leave them be; let them do their own thing and we’ll mind our own business. of course that doesn’t mean we don’t get personal, but maybe not over a public radio show unless it’s a radio show covering these (personal) topics 😅

I was a little worried because I know Japan is heavily conservative but I am glad they were able to make joke of the conversation. My father is very liberal but my relatives and mother are conservative. They will always question your sexuality when you aren't into dating or haven't found the right person.

Nakamura, that's just...making things more complicated? It's kind of sad though since people can drop comments like that so easily. It's a very tough position to be in. But Ishikawa Harem sounds nice. A new subbing channel~ uwu Yal-san (amma call you that)...so far, i guess the translators note that pop up in the middle of the conversation can be a bit distracting???(if that makes sense?) (btw this is around 0:57) Long texts like those can be overwhelming to read when placed in the center Other than that, everything is nicely done. I'm looking forward to more of your seiyuu content~ (*￣▽￣)b

I was asked that kind of quation before and it get really awkward to answer cause me my self like the person in the video never date someone and never think about it deeply. She was my uperclassman and the quation drop in the middle of drama club activities, she jus go " Oh Irr you actually asexual right?" I was like " damn no one ever ask that before." and just laugh. I never really think about my sexuality before and never think someone gonna quationing it in front of all the club members.
