Looking at Ishigami’s backstory makes you wonder how much of a chad Miyuki is He managed to reach him and even making him a treasurer. Like damn, not only he dragged him out of the dark he even gave him a value. In the manga it’s actually Kaguya who drew the stuco attention to Ishigami case. Chika was the most upset about that situation and gathered proof of Ishigami’s innocence. I kinda feel bad that in the anime the spotlight was only on Prez when the others were also involved.

Honestly I LOVED how they portrayed Ichigami. Usually when they make socially awkward characters they only stutter or are stressed in public but do it in a cute, lovable way. Ichigami's awkwardness seems much more realistic: being apathetic, saying bad, gross things because he's clueless or doesn't know where the boundaries are... And it makes sense, how COULD he know them if he was pushed away by everyone for years? With all that guilt, fear and loneliness! Such an interesting character and I constantly went BRRRROOOO, NOOOO ICHIGAMIIIIIIII T[]T, during his backstory. Also the scene with him dressing up with Kaguya WAS SO. FRICKIN. ADORABLE!!!

In the past he received no thanks, no reward, no recognition, because all he needed was that chance that those suffering wouldn't have to go through such needless torment, when he could just direct it towards himself and everyone else around him could be none the wiser. *This man had so much good will and hope that he chose to use it for others and when he needed it the most for himself, he couldn't cos there was very little he could see for someone like him.* *Overall, this man deserves so much more love and appreciation than he gets, and even though he's in a much better place nowadays with peers and friends that do truly love and respect him, no one could ever completely understand the true meaning of self sacrifice better than the legend himself, Ishigami Yu.*

To add salt to the wound, he chose to be hated by the girl which is contrary to everything he’s done up to that point. Maybe he realized he fucked up and chose to be silent to repent. Nevertheless, it’s pointless to tell the girl the truth. Ishigami is already happy in the present, and there’s no need to dig the crap.

Ishigami is a perfectly designed character. It's impossible not to sympathize with him because everybody can relate to him at some point. Not only that but he's just a good person. He's the perfect example of someone who is _truly_ misunderstood and been handed the short end of the stick. I hope both him and Hayasaka find somebody who gets them by the end of this series' run time. They've both been down in the shit. They deserve it.
