ISDE 1983 MID-WALES UK

In 1983 the 6 Day Enduro (ISDE), an Internationasl Event was held at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells, Mid-Wales, UK.. This is a Highlight clip from the main film which has recently been re-edited with new exclusive archive footage of this World Championship event filmed in 1983. The new film is now available on DVD and the running time has been extended from 1 hour 20 minutes originally to approximately two and a half hours. This production has been regarded as a Classic and one of the best produced on a 6 Day event at that time. Due to illegal copying there are very few Motorcycle Enduro films produced today so please help us to protect our Copyright and in turn, promote the sport.
The film was produced by Derrick Pugh, a former Welsh and British 4 Stroke Enduro Champion.

Geraint [or possibly his brother] managed to get round much of the circuit without ever getting dirty, apparently... Arthur stalled his TT600 on the last motocross test right next to me and went off gold. The event was dangerously tight on time. The road sections were lethal with loads on the wrong side at full bore. It was said Brick's son rode as Andy for a while.....Cheating is legal, as long you get away with it. Wet and chaotic. You got the feeling the organisers were stretched almost to breaking point. I was watching. We never ran another one....
