is fantastic! I live on Ischia and seeing a video like this of an English person who speaks it like this made me really happy! Above all thanks to this video I saw how many people would really like to come there, and to think that for me this is normal what can I say, this video made me realize that I live in a really beautiful place, thanks

In July I return to Ischia for the third time. If you want a cheap hotel right in the centre, via Roma in Ischia Porto, there is the Hotel Conte 3 *** If you want something more, I recommend the Hotel Floridiana Terme 4**** in corso Vittoria Colonna in the "IN" area of Ischia Porto, with spa, swimming pool, etc. Both hotels are located near the port.

When did you go? i was interested in going but not sure what it’s like after the mud slide a few months ago 😢

Hi Amber! Thanks for your message and for watching. I visited in August 2022. From what I've read, while devastating; I believe the affected area from the slide was specifically in Casamicciola Terme which I didn't really show in my video as I didn't visit there personally. If you plan on going which I (strongly suggest!!) maybe check the Tourist Page for Ischia (www.ischia.it/en/) where perhaps they can give better up to date insight.
What would the temperature be at the end of august beginning of September. We love to shop. What’s the shopping like other than souvenirs? Also, what beach is close by that is large and spectacular?

The weather would still be great; high 20s into the 30s. I was there at end of July into August and it was well over 30c every day. Fantastic shopping! Many local shops offering great fashions, art, handicrafts and day-to-day items. With regards to the beaches, it really depends whereabouts on the island you are staying. Beaches are beautiful the island over, but they have slightly different characteristics. I stayed in Ischia Ponte so I was nearest the Spiaggia dei Pescatori which I loved, but it wasn't as large as say Maronti beach, which you see an aerial shot during the video. Definitely worth the trip so I hope you get to visit :)

Stunning and very informative video.. Forio town is a lovely base. Nice beaches, 2 spa centres closeby, a botanical garden and great restaurants and bars. Quaint and picturesque town that is well connected.🏖️🍕🍷😎

I was there end of July into August and it didn't seem so hectic? I do try to film more of the destination and less of the people at times so could be also me avoiding crowds :)
