Hello sir , I am also in isc class 12 th , preparing for NEET and u r absolutely right .Infact our books are better than NCERT as our books are more explained with proper understanding. Variable questions are provided in the book itself . The main difference is that our one book is 4 times the cost of NCERT book but no one can understand NCERT without a refresher ,so the amount of our books and NCERT reaches the same .

It is because ur child was not able to handle the new sanoario As he changed the school he must be missing his old school and he want to go there I am also in same situation i have changed my stream from icse to cbse But now I want to go back to my school. And i will go surely

I actually wanted to shift to a CBSE school for better JEE preparation but unfortunately I had to stay in my same ISC school only

I am definitely changing my school (ICSE to CBSE)as this school is at 1½ hour distance from home . And CBSE would be comparitively better . But i heard about dummy schools also , and no school openly tells if it's dummy. How can we know whether it is dummy or not .

True Aryan, schools should not publicize as dummy schools, so they will not tell..

Since I'm an ISC student my school(12) follows nootan book for phy and chem.I don't go any tution and it's really hard to manage.I want you to suggest whether there any free platform to watch vidoes nootan complete concept of ISC syllabus.Phy- both theory and numericals. Chem- theory. Pls reply I'm searching hard for good isc videos.

See, the issue with most olympiads is they are based on say current standard syllabus (60-70%) + extra syllabus (30-40%). That is why students often get discouraged by them. But, regarding JEE I can say that being an ISC student, you will not have any difference what so ever. He can prepare just like a CBSE/ other state board students will do.

Syllabus for Physics and Chemistry are almost same everywhere and I don't think maths need to be asked for content

If you want to go for neet then why you are taking maths??..think about this first secondly in isc if you want to take pcmb , u need to study Shakespeare in English which is quite hard , but seeing ur circumstances opting pcmb will help you , u can actually get good percentage without studying too much maths , as isc percentage is calculation rule is diffrent its English + best 3 ...it means u will just need to focus on eng , phy , chem and bio , hindi and for maths take it as optional subject...do your best in English and in any 3 subject ....but don't forgot to study a ncert side by side..just for reference ... and yeah I am a pcmb student from isc..hope this help army..💜💜

@@reenakumari249 hey tysm for the advice...i actually i got admission in a coaching centre in kerala n they r telling i could study there only if i take pcmb n since i took basic math i can't cbse n only icse n state(i'm not sure about state tho) is my leftover option...i'm pretty good at eng and math but i'm kinda scared about the shift from cbse to icse...do you have any tips for icse 11 and 12 n also for neet(also i'm curious about what u want to pursue after 12th)....i'm scared if i will be able to manage my time for pcb which i need for neet among all the subs

There is no compuslion to change to CBSE. ICSE syllabus can still be as good as CBSE. Thing is you need to understand concepts. If you are getting everything here, it is good. But also ask your seniors about how is ISC staff teaching within school sometimes, staff will be different and things like that. If all things are good, ISC you can continue and crack JEE...

Ha ha,,,you can not say that openly!! But in state board, lot of schools there will be more freedom. You can just go on first day and last day:). But yes, your point is correct. If you are looking for more time off-school then CBSE will suit.

@@jyotiprasadchatterjee8707 u can ask your teacher to study in library .... being an isc student and jee aspirant I have talked to my principal to be in school but to don't attend classes.....my principal agrees , try to talk to ur teachers or principal. ...library will be the best place to study...u will get diffrent resources as well..

my advice check out vedantu's video on which board to choose for 11th grade, they give specific advice for each condition ig its called- Which is better ICSE, CBSE or dummy

If you know hindi then you can make this in hindi your english is well but speaking conversion very confussion

Yes, ISC mei 11th our 12th karke NEET ki teyari kar sakthe ho..Nothing to be concerned. Sirf ek baat dhyan mei rakhna ki, kuch aise chapters hai jo CBSE mei theory based hothey hai, bas un chapters ko CBSE se reading karna..all the best.

See, mostly ISC Bio will take care of your NEET part. But the thing is using NCERT will give some advantage as sometimes questions do get picked up from NCERT/ data or facts presented in NCERT. Physics- DC Pandey for NEET or MTG Chemistry- MTG book or Cengage NEET Chemistry Biology- NCERT + 1 or 2 resources for practice like Arihant/MTG Also, past years for every chapter. See, i am suggesting MTG or Arihant not because of any other reason. See, they collate all good content from various institute materials like Allen/CONCEPTREE / Bansal/Akash and put it into their material. So, you get good collection of NEET relevant problems.

See, question patterns will be obviously MCQ/ Numerical and Matrix match...i mean in JEE we will not have descriptive type. In that regard, any Board exam will have descriptive form of assessment.

I think the fact is these competitive exams are based on ncert and isc students can't study from ncert
