To celebrate the day of hearts, 2021, Word International Ministries (Seattle), once again made a virtual choir attempt - this time singing a famous Filipino song from the late 70's, popularized by singer Leah Navarro. Words and music come from Nonong Pedero, a very prolific OPM (Original Pilipino Music) composer. The message of the song is one of unity - a call to every race and culture to come together and love one another as that's the only way we will be able to solve our problems. It's a lofty ideal, to be sure, but isn't that what our Savior has commanded us to do, despite our differences? Particularly relevant in today's divided nation where one side can't stop calling the other side names. We need to come to the middle and celebrate our commonalities as human beings and learn to love one another.
