I love how she is so REAL. She doesn’t use Botox or has had any other work done. She embraces her age instead of fighting it.

She isn't American so doesn't hate herself, as European men don't sit online making websites encouraging other men to abuse women while travelling, and dont call women names like Karen, don't do blonde jokes or give women's hairstyles names such as speak to the manager hairstyle.

alan wisdom - Agreed. Though if a person decides to have cosmetic procedures it doesn’t mean they’re not aging gracefully. After all, Isabella isn’t foregoing cosmetics and hair colour. Cosmetics, clothing, and jewelry are all adornments of thyself. Loving yourself and enhancing what you already have, drawing attention to particular features. Would you not fix up your insides that weren’t working well for you? The outside is important to the inside, the mind, the emotional state too. Look good feel good pertains to ourselves as a whole.

There must come a time when the surface and externalities are seen for what they are and given the weight they deserve and NO more. Otherwise the external will rule and make shallow beasts of us all. I turned 36 today. For me it's just a number. I am happy, that I didn't turn to some of these people who doesn't do something, because they turned 30. At Saturday I go with friends to play lasertag. I have green, long hair and I collect dolls. My life is perfect!

@@suelilevi First of all that does not have to be the case, even for actresses, not all of them resorted to plastic surgery because they did not want to change themselves or deceive anyone. I don't know what religion you follow but if it is Islam or even Christianity or Judaism none of them permit you to change God's creation. Certainly not for vanity or to please the public. Finally as a woman I would have thought you might have more solidarity with your sister and not fall into the trap of trying to please the people. I can see you are very interested in the surface, the superficial. Perhaps you should think why that is the case and focus on deeper more meaningful things than a person's appearance.

Agreed! I have always like the european actresses the most, they enjoy being being an older woman, Americans have a speed dial to their plastic surgeons.

She’s such a class act. You just know if she was sitting in a cafe at a table next to you and you were there with your kids, she’d be so accommodating and conversational.

I love this lady. Just like her mum. Elegant, intelligent, vivacious, and funny

she looks and sounds so much like her mother.. she is lovely

She was the best Lancome spokesperson ever. I never thought anyone came close after her. She was perfect.

I totally agree and I was so lucky to have seen her first hand while in our offices. They transformed her in every shoot. Just stunning!

She is adorable. Would love to meet her one day and discuss the weather, etc. She seems so authentic and down to earth.

I’m 64 and she said exactly what I feel. As I’ve gotten older my core has become stronger. She is so beautiful!!

I was her assistant during the "Blue Velvet" and "Lancôme" days! I loved her then and of course my love is just as strong today. She is exactly what you see here! Lovely, kind, funny, smart and so very sweet!

I met her mother many times and her children in the early 1970’s when they lived in Knightsbridge London. Ingrid was so shy yet so gracious with everyone

She speaks with honest wisdom that her words are coming from both her head and heart you will find it irresistible that you will really listen. That is a good discoursing woman. Plus she is elegant....her demeanour alone shows it.

It's true. The older you get the less superficial you get and the more learning new things interests you. And you have to stop sacrificing yourself.

Few woman exude the class and elegance, warmth, wit and wisdom that Isabella Rosalini does. She is so charming.

so true, aging - if you don't waste your time and energy panicking about wrinkles - brings a lot of inner peace and deep satisfaction. I would never go back to how I felt at age 25 or 35, with all those open plans and questions about your future and if things will work out etc. I'm 50 and I know what has worked out, I know what hasn't, I love my job, my children turned out great, my divorce was hell but being single turned out to be a blessing. I don't live in luxury, sometimes I have to cut down on things, but I don't care because I have the real deal: a very stable, peaceful and hassle-free life.

Dear Thục Linh Võ, it depends very much on who you meet in life. If you meet a very loving and caring companion and everything goes perfectly well, it might not be the case for you as for many others. I was not that lucky, my idea and conception of love, care and loyalty turned out to be an illusion, and at some point it stopped being worth the hassle. Being single stopped the conflicts, the disappointments, the fights, the discussions and brought a lot of harmony and peace into my life. Being happy and having space allows you to go deep into what you want and who you are. You make your own decisions all the time, totally free, and I found myself Ianding a great job, having dear friends, traveling a lot, leading a very pleasant life and feeling very satisfied. I would never ever jeopardize my inner peace and harmony for a man. Not anymore. I Wish you all the best things in life.

It’s true...I don’t ever want to be 25 again...I was incredibly naive & did a lot of stupid things & worried what people thought. I don’t worry so much about what people think...it’s a very free feeling!

I wish I'd had the strength to be more true to myself and say it like it is as a youth but you live and learn! The benefits of aging are underrated in society.

I always enjoy watching interviews with Isabella, she is so interesting, intelligent and has a great personality.

I remember this beautiful lady working with Lancome while I was working there in early 80’s. She was always happy and smiling when we did the photo shoots with the Makeup Director , Tony Michaels. She was and is stunning. First $million dollar model for Lancome. Always an amazing memory for me! I am so glad they brought her back. Classic beauty!
