I think the reason it's so underrated, at least from my own experiences, is because of how finicky it is with stealing items like legit most of the item it doesn't do shit when it comes to devil deals or shop items

The thing that usually works for me is I aim the cross hair right above the price and under the sprite for the item itself. I think it's roughly where the pedestal for the item would be

I believe they nerfed i so it has a 50/50 chance to fail everytime you use to get an item, the mod never failed, not even once.

There's also the fact that it can open the boss rush door from inside to let you escape

You can also command him onto enemies and bosses and he’ll help attack them. Most slept on item imo

Mr me is like one of the best active items to find early in the entire game I genuinely think it’s top 10

Mr. Me should always be an instant pick up/buy in Greed mode. Potential free items from the shop can be a godsend.

I love Mr. Me to the point where sometimes I have to tell myself not to take it because it feels like I've cheated

I got Mr. Me during a run and found gnawed leaf on the hush floor, cheesed the absolute hell out of both it and delirium with it.

Once i tried to open the door to "home" floor with mr. Me, but he instead opened up a secret room

I feel like it always misses the item for the devil deals

you forgot that you can let mr me attack enemys: just point at something like a montro and the ghost will attack monstro until montro is dead. i did not test it for normal neemys only for bosses, so idk if it work on normal enemys or if he will continue killing things if his main target is daed

Another fact, HE can fight, his damage is low but he can stack in a fight, if you have 4.5 and you fight against characters like hush, you can spawn him on top of hush and he will attack, he will stay with him and do contact damage, I think it was 3, but if you put enough you can kill hush, it was funny when at my most desperate moment of that fight, I sent him one as a joke, shit, I was surprised by the fact that you can use it to attack.

He's also pretty broken in greed mode

Another thing about this i noticed during my experience with mr. Me, dunno if it's mentioned by spoily but If you time it right and put the marker over an enemy/boss, mr. Me will follow the enemy and deal continuous damage (idk how much, though) until said enemy dies

I understand the hatred for the show, but the item is good FFS. It's literally a multipurpose tool, that can also be used as a free devil deal or shop item. It opens most of the doors, and overall helps greatly.
