(Sept. 4, 2022) After delivering a spectacular KO over Eduardo Ramirez on the Andy Ruiz vs Luis Ortiz PBC on FOX PPV, Isaac cruz called out Gervonta Davis for a rematch.
Gervonta Davis was in the building and was nothing but smiles when the "Pitbull" called him out.
Cruz continued, if Gervonta doesn't take the offer, he said he wanted Devin Haney next.

This guy has got some balls, Oscar de la Hoya was the last fighter I've seen who is willing to fight anyone. De la Hoya has got to be the only fighter to fight, Mayweather, pacman, Julio Ceaser Chavez, and Pernell Whitaker, that's not mentioning Arturo Gatti and Shane Mosley. I hope Pitbull Cruz gets the opportunity to prove himself against the best, and build a resume just as respectable as De la Hoya's.

he probably wasnt as he fought cruz with a broken hand and still clearly won. Davis ko in the rematch. hes a slow starter and once hes figured opponents out he KO's them every time. He's fought cruz, has him figured out and would finish him in a rematch

I reckon 4 more years, at his peak he would beat Davis. That being said I think Gervonta os going to get the better of him for the next couple of years. No he didn't have 2 weeks camp! He was already in camp for a different opponent as an undercard but then got elevated to the main event. It was 4 weeks of preparation for Tank but Tank also got 4 weeks to prepare for Cruz!
