Ok why do people get upset over the US version of ghosts? At least we get an actual LGBT character, literally in the UK version, it’s JUST been confirmed

in the UK version they rely more on subtext for their LGBT character (the Captain) while in the US version it is more obvious and expanded upon for a storyline. There's nothing wrong with either approach but I appreciate that we have an actual LGBT relationship in the US version with Isaac and Nigel

It hasn't *just* been confirmed, the character has been clearly gay from s1, and the creators have been talking about it in interviews since s2!

It did start off nearly identical to the original, but it grew on me once it expanded more on the characters. I enjoy their differences in the 2 shows. Can't say the same for others but it all comes down to preferences.

the Captain in the UK version was always interpreted as gay, and while it’s less explicitly shown than with Isaac, that doesn’t make him any less of an “actual” LGBT character. Also don’t forget that he is extremely repressed and reserved so of course nothing’s gonna be explicitly shown with him

These two win second most wholesome fictional gay couple after the two boys in Moral Orel who just said “you’re nice” to each other and kissed the entire time they were on screen.

I know what you mean re: compilation. I tried myself, and got pushed back every time. :(
