We are Tom & Iz. For the last three years we have been living and traveling in our tiny home on wheels, La Bamba, a self converted transit van. Now we are looking at setting some roots (shallow ones for now) and so have decided to embark on this new series trying to find the UKs best weekend breaks.
This week we head to Glastonbury. We climb the famous Tor and enjoy perusing the high streets quirky shops. Tom surprises Isabel with a unique stay in a yurt ( www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/198278... ). Isabel rustles up a healthy Lentil, Chard & Sweet Potato Curry ( www.forksoverknives.com/recip... ) and we settle into #yurtlife . The next day we go to explore another of Somerset's famous locations, Cheddar Gorge, taking in the crisp wintery nature and the sounds of boy racers.
I hope you all enjoy, we have really been enjoying filming this new series and i hope it comes across. After what was the most challenging hike we have ever done, it feels good to be back on the road together.

WELCOME BACK IZ & TOM!!! Woah, fancy new graphics 👏👏👏 Not been to Glastonbury since my daughter was tiny ( I carried her and her pushchair up the steep side of the Tor to the top 😅!) The yurt looked amazingly cosy, especially after dark. 😊

So happy to have you back 💓
I feel like not enough people are commenting on that intro. The 3D text blocks? Someone's been practising over the Christmas break! Looking great!! Can't wait to join for another adventure. Was thinking the other day how it's so weird we can miss people we haven't met - there are a few KZread's that move on and put the camera down for good and it's such a funny feeling when you think about them years on. Glad you're back!
It's great to have you back, Isobel and Tom. I'm. Looking forward to more adventures. ❤ Safe travels.
Me and my partner can get back to watching you both on a Sunday haha. Good to have you back. Iz/Tom, I have a suggestion for a nice weekend away for you both. Robin Hoods Bay, North Yorkshire. A nice, tranquil coastal village. If you love a village/cottage break. This is perfect for you two. Also, if you’re a lover of steam trains, Robin hoods bay is about 15 mins drive to Whitby where you can hop onto the North York Moors railway, where if you stop at Goathland, it was a filming location for the first two Harry Potter films.

I love your adventures. You are living the life I wish I had as a youngster. You always perk me up. Keep up the good work. 😊
good to have you back and getting on so well together. Izzy is happy and appreciative. What am i saying?!😊
Great to see you both back. Looking forward to your adventures of 2024 👍😊🇮🇪🇬🇧
The intro’s are amazing. Look how far your editing has come over the years. So great to see you out and adventuring again. Love the underground cabin that you shared on another video. Again, Tom, you are so great with the history of anywhere you both have traveled. What an interesting place with the statues and temple. The candles at night is quirky. Staying in interesting place again, a yurt! Thank you for the journey you take us all on. I do have SurfShark and introduced on your channel three years ago!!! I love it. Stay well and happy travels.
Great to have you back folks. Loving the new intro !!! Nice nice!! Enjoy the local travels ! There's no place like home !
Great to see you back.
Wow awesome video thanks a lot 😊
The yurt resonated with me, since for reasons that are too boring to go into, I've been looking at the state of sustainable building in the UK. For example, did you know that around 90% of new house builds in Scotland are timber frame, yet in England it's around 10%? Anyhow, glad to see Tom and Iz (and Clio) back, watching your videos is a great way to de-stress.
I live in Wadebridge, but want to live in Glasto. Thanks so much for the views Tom and Iz. Your drone shots were incredible. 😊🙏💚
Nice to see you back
Amazing how the winter landscape is just as incredibly beautiful as the other seasons. Please keep the adventures coming. I love Ireland and Scotland too.

I’d was pleased and surprised to see you back today and really enjoyed that yurt space. Maybe it’s time we started thinking about more affordable communal living as one alternative to expensive city flats? 😊

Great idea. Must be hard churning out content when not on the road and stuck in a field! Missed you guys.
Love watching your adventures. With a car or van, it appears you are able to see some remarkable sights. I’d love to see what adventures you can find (other than the well known attractions) if one had to rely on public transit in Ireland or the U.K. I’d be very interested in your take on this kind of travel and what kind of outdoor adventures you find.
Weekend getaway... might take longer than a weekend. I would send you back to Ireland which is when I discovered your channel. Went to Ireland several years ago and stayed at a few hotels and B & B's. One that stood out was the Leenane Hotel in Leenane Co. Galway. It's a neat old hotel in a small town off one of the main roads. In like a mountain setting with lake/ocean.
Love it up the tor my other spitual place apart from treen beach . Always great. Didn't know you could bathe inside the temple !! Gotta do that next time I go .
Love this video ❤ good to see you both again we have dogs so never get to try yurt life but it looked so cosy ! 🔥☕️ that curry looks good going to try that 🤗
GREAT INTRO!!! 👏 Seriously good work! Great to see your lovely faces back on KZread ❤
Hi. Great video. Thank you.
Congrats on some great photography of a magical place (haven't been here since 1966!). A neat looking yurt indeed; have a former colleague from Qatar just back from a stay in a yurt in Mongolia.
Omg love you guys. SUCH CUTIES. ❤

I really like the new series -- including the new intro! I've heard of the Glastonbury festival but never been to that town. It strikes me like a British version of Sedona in Arizona. Also, I really want to try the whole yurt thing now. My wife is no camper, but I just might be able to talk her into this.
Great have ye back miss yer videos Eddie Trish Waterford
love it!
Lovely Glastonbury and cheddar Gorge. Please do more walks in Cornwall. ❤

Yeah we will, I always feel funny about making travel videos at home but we are planning a Cornwall weekend away next month
Great to see you again guys. That yurt is one of the coolest things I've seen accomodation wise. It was fab, as was your drone footage (as usual!) Tom. Might I suggest trying a camp outside Britain's highest pub The Tan Hill Inn in the Yorkshire Dales. The views are stunning up there. It's on the Pennine Way which itself is a stunning route to suggest for you.

Hi, I think you would really like Whitby, they have a goth weekend in April, it's also got the North York Moors nearby with lots of hikes and the North York Moors steam railway.
Welcome back guys ;0
