@@abramlittle7102 I had no strong males in my life growing up whatsoever, no father no grandfather no uncle that wasn't a pushover and my step father was completely checked out from being dominated by my mothers drama. All my teachers were women or effeminate men. The only masculine men I knew were criminals and the sports geeks who only payed attention to boys who had athletic abilities. Everything I learned about manhood I learned the hard way

You haven't seen enough fights. I've seen kicks many times, one was a beautiful low kick that set up his hands for a combo that won him a fight against a much larger opponent. I've seen head kicks land, but most of them landed on their arse. I caught a front kick from a bloke when I was on the door, sent him backwards for his troubles. Seen heaps of knees, done heaps of knees.

I agree with all 10 points I’ve been saying since the gracie made it famous bjj is not effective in a non sanctioned fight with favorable rules As a former wrestler and boxer i know that the only time i wanna grab someone is when im sure i have complete advantage there Head kicks are always dangerous also because of the miss potential Leg kicks are always priority

Amen, brother. I agree totally agree with your position on BJJ. I have been studying Martial Arts for 56 years. My whole martial journey has been about what works in the street. Going to the ground is avoided and not even contemplated.

Sometimes you don’t have the choice whether you go to the ground or not. Also you have to train grappling to defend grappling and stay on your feet

@@timrob0420 I think you're missing the point. Most traditional arts included some form of wrestling / grappling, because, yeah, sometimes, you might have to lock up with someone---but, that was not their core material. Jujutsu is not being attacked here; it is a viable sport, but you can't count on having only one opponent, if you get jumped. A grappling art cannot be your base, because it makes you a standing / lying target---it leaves your back, head, face, kidneys, etc., COMPLETELY vulnerable to attack. Assuming a mount position, on one guy, makes you very easy prey for the friends of his (or enemies of yours) that you were not aware of. Any fighter that has survived an attack with multiple assailants is not gonna recommend that your focus (if you are looking for something that will work in the street) be BJJ. Again, no attack on jujutsu is intended, here; you can love a sport, and still see it's shortcomings. Hope this helps.

Please make a video addressing: Proper way to make a fist I left my boxing gym. For many reasons. The main one because the coach in "beginner" didn't teach the proper way to clench a fist after I humbly showed him. This resulted to: Handwraps reinforcing Improper form, lack of control in sparring, stiff shoulder mobility ect. They let heavy guys use 12oz gloves for sparring....same gloves used on the bag and the mitts. Iam 64KG using 14oz only sparring gloves. One of the coaches is "Muslim" I shamed him...At least I didnt do it in front of the others, Mercy from my part. If our Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: to his respected Companions (RIP) "no strikes to the head" it was for a reason! I went live speed on a moving heavy leather bag. I could tell that the participants in "Advanced"" looked surprised that I did it without wraps or locked fists. We humans are ALLAH's proudest creation, never forget that!

Growing up in NJ there were a lot of schools that had different backgrounds but also updated training methods to round things out and adapt to modern threats.
