Definitely. we have been on gamepass for a year. We dont have a console. We play on the huge TV in the family room. The only downside is that, through the TV, you can only have one controller input. For now. Since it kinda hijacks the bluetooth remote control input. Another note; we had to connect the TV to the router by cable. Our wifi wasnt fast enough. We love it - and have never had any issue with stuttering or lag. It's lightning fast. Love xcloud.

My favorite feature of cloud gaming is not needing storage. I can choose to play games like Starfield via the cloud without the huge storage amount taking up all of that storage on my console.

@@ready4grabs not that I'm aware of. you either login and the patch is there or you login and it's not. there's no in between where you gotta watch something download or update.

I've been using cloud gaming from Xbox for the past few weeks, and I've enjoyed it. there's only been a couple of times when I've had to wait 5 minutes or more before launching the game. im assuming as it gets more popular they will add more hardward to decrease the wait times. Christmas day, I couldn't connect at all due to the high volume of players trying to connect. there's over 400 games to play, and you don't have to pay extra for them. new games are always added. you must have a steady and fast internet connection. I can play it on both wifi and data, but it takes lots of bandwidth, so stick to wifi. playing a game on your phone for hours is possible due to the fact you're just streaming video... meaning even though you're playing a game on your phone, to your phone, it's just playing a video. good battery life. you also don't have to worry about space as there are no downloads or updates.

@user-vf9sc6tt3w I've played after testing it downloading at 17mb, and it seemed fine. Other times I tested, I was getting closer to 500mb when beside my router. if you don't get between 15mb and 20mb it might not be worth it. but they almost always have a 14-day trail for $1 for the xboxbcloud gaming, and Walmart has a 15-day return policy on electronics if you want to grab a xbox controller for $65. If it doesn't work well with your internet, just don't subscribe after the 14 days and cancel your subscription. pack up the Xbox controller and return it. end of the day, you would have paid $1 to find out if it works. that's what I did. 🤷‍♂️

@user-vf9sc6tt3w Spots in my backyard get bad wifi, but even with 15-20mbps, I was playing the game fine. it basically has to be fast enough to load 1080p video constantly with no interruptions. if your connection becomes to bad it will try to reconnect and to the game it will appear your controller died (its way of pausing games when a bad connection happens, I think) and you can continue where you left off most of the time.

I recently bought a Chromebook plus, and having Xbox Cloud is brilliant. I think GeForce now definitely looks better, but having Xbox Series X console and knowing my games sync wherever I am is definitely a win. Also having a good game catalogue included is even better. I just hope they add 4K60 streaming soon.

Cloud gaining is cool if you’re playing CPU only. I experience a slight lag while trying to connect with others

I have a 55" TV no XBOX and it is working great !!!! Just wondering Is there any way to get to my saved games at all ? I would like to save some backup copies. Do we even know who/where the auto and Quick saves are being saved ??? I know smart TV's have memory or is the Game pass saving them in the Cloud ??? There are plenty of saved games I can re-load but (if you save to many times they get written over), It would be really Kool if we could download them to replay later. This way I find out how the game changes after you make certain choices during the game.

I always wondered the same. As far as I know, they don't allow that. I don't think they will. they do that, and you could modify the save files and give yourself access to every item and location in the game. I'm sure they just want to avoid the headache, plus they know they have your save files saved anyway. I just wonder how long they keep them. For example, they just removed gta, but before it was removed, I had save files. if it gets added again later, do they still have my save files, or did they get removed with the game. 😅

You should always be buying pre-paid subscription keys online rather than allowing the monthly rolling fee to come out. You can find 3 months for thr price of 2 everywhere

I’ve used it on and off over the past year or so . I now use it almost daily as my Xbox series x is in the living room, the family dominate the tv for obvious reasons . One day I set up cloud gaming on my MacBook Pro, synced the Xbox elite controller up. Been playing Persona 3 up in the bedroom via the Mac and continuing on the tv in moments I can use my console. I’ve got the steam deck , quest 3, switch oled and ps5. Something about having games portable and on the go is so much more appealing . If only they made a backbone that fits my iPad mini 6 . For me game stream is awesome

This service is actually really good and only getting better. …and it’s free if you have Gamepass ultimate that includes gamepass, EA Play, and Console and PC game downloads and streaming.

Been using XBOX cloud gaming for a few months now. I've never seen waiting times for any games that I played. The only cons is that there's sometimes a glitch during the gameplay even with my 400 Mbps stable ethernet connection (8ms ping). But otherwise great graphics compared to Playstation cloud gaming.

Is this available in all countries, worldwide, or only specific country?

Can anyone explain to me why I get better frame rate on some games with Xbox cloud gaming? On my Rog ally z1 non extreme, I only get 30 fps when I downloaded halo infinite. I tried to game off the cloud instead and I’m able to get 110 - 120 fps. Why?

To bad everything looks like shit when I stream them. Got gamepass ultimate on PC to stream console versions to play with friends but they look so bad I have fiber Internet so it's not my speed doing it. I have a PC and my friend doesn't he's on Xbox so I got gamepass ultimate to play hell let loose with him but gamepass cloud stream just looks so bad been trying to get him to try GeForce but he's sceptical of it after trying Xbox streaming seeing how bad it is. With GeForce how does it work does he just get it then buy games on steam to play with me? He has a laptop with HDMI so could he just connect it to his TV and stream with GeForce?

You stil have to buy the games on the steam deck. On game pass you get a lot of those games without having to pay seperatley plus you save serive and its relatively cheap and you get to play for a month on any device. There's almost no losses there only advantages only problem would be wifi/internet because you need it to play

You forget that a Steam Deck is running a much more powerful cpu to play games locally on the device rather than streaming them. That means it runs hotter, drains battery and carries more weight than a cloud streaming device. It's completely different to using a controller grip on a phone or a smaller streaming handheld like the Abxylute in the video

Its been proven by Digital foundry that XCloud is worse than PlayStation stream. Just use your phone instead of this machine aswell. Its a 2020 android phone btw
