I need to keep four windows open at a time for work. I have been reluctant to upgrade, but now I must because Slack won't work on my fully-functioning Windows 7 setup. How do you/can you setup Windows 11 to accomplish this -- having multiple windows open on one monitor?

Win11 is great. If you use VR I suugest you disable hardware aceleration graphics (HAGS). This is enabled as a default with win11.

Yes, its an advanced OS, people should adapt it.
Do you have a choice? NO....., WHEN SOFTWARE MAKERS STOP software from running on win 7. CAN YOU officially run it on your old pc. NO. MOD WIN 11 11 GO RUN, yes. Steam force me to upgrade from win 7. You can update win 11 on a mod pc..., force a upgrade over it.
