Is Waswas (Doubts/ Whispers) about Allah's existence/ Aqeedah Kufr?

It is important to differentiate between this waswas and actual shakk (doubt about the religion). Whilst this waswas is a sign of strong emaan, shakk is kufr (disbelief). The one afflicted by this waswas dislikes the waswas and is distressed by this, the one who was shakk seriously considers the possibility of Islam being false. إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوا Only those are the believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and afterward doubt not

@@firqahnajiyah1 Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said in Kitab al-Eeman: “The believer may suffer from the whispers of the Shaytan insinuating thoughts of kufr (disbelief), which may make him feel distressed. The Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them) said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, some of us think thoughts which we would rather fall from heaven to earth than speak of them.’ He said, ‘That is a clear sign of faith.’ According to one report, ‘… thoughts which are too terrible to speak of.’ He said, ‘Praise be to Allah, Who has reduced all his [the Shaytan’s] plots to mere whispers,’ meaning that the fact that these whispers come, but they are so greatly disliked, and they are pushed away from the heart, is a clear sign of faith. This is like the mujahid (warrior) to whom the enemy comes, but he resists him until he overwhelms him, and this is a mighty jihad (battle)… Hence the seekers of knowledge and devoted worshippers experience waswas and doubts which others do not face, because they (the others) are not following the way prescribed by Allah, rather they are following their own whims and desires and neglecting to remember their Lord. This is what the Shaytan wants, in contrast to those who are striving to draw closer to their Lord by seeking knowledge and worshipping Him. He is their enemy and seeks to prevent them from drawing closer to Allah.” (p.147 of the Indian edition)

I swear by Allah's name, this video was the very thing I needed the most right now! I have been afflicted with constant waswasas for quite a long while and now I am beyond doubt that it has all been a hard test of my imaan, subhanAllah! May Allah strengthen our imaan against all kufr and shirk and those who wish to lead us astray!

I heard a lot about Shaykh Uthaymeen. I just began listening to him. He is not only a scholar. He is also compassionate, he is at times very funny and sympathetic and much more. May he rest in peace and may Allah bless his soul❤️

The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever removes a hardship from a believer in this world, Allah will remove one of the hardships of the Day of Resurrection from him. Whoever grants respite to (a debtor) who is in difficulty, Allah will grant him relief in this world and in the Hereafter. Whoever conceals (the fault of) a Muslim in this world, Allah will conceal him (his faults) in this world and in the Hereafter. Allah will help a person so long as he is helping his brother. Whoever follows a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make a path to Paradise easy for him. No people gather in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it together, but tranquillity will descend upon them, mercy will overshadow them, the angels will surround them and Allah will mention them to those who are with Him. Whoever is slowed down by his deeds, his lineage will not help him to get ahead.” Narrated by Muslim.

@@Mirsab I understand from this, that the people in Jahiliyah and even some nowdays, boast about their lineage, tribe, city etc. Their lineage may be virtous, but if they are deficient of good deeds, their lineage will be of no benefit.

From my personal experience, extreme waswas accompanied by tightness in chest may be a sign of Sihr and Jinn possesion, i would advice ruqyah as well
Can you please recommend other channels? Where we can find these translated Arabic lectures, and complete lectures and series, instead of short snippets. Because snippets are great for motivation and increasing your Iman, but to increase your knowledge, you have to watch those full length lecture series. That's what I am looking for in Arabic, and well translated into English.

The only channel I know that translates whole series of lessons is scholarly subtitles. Translating whole lessons can be time consuming, and I only really have enough time to translate 5 minute clips.

From my experience since I had waswas. It usually comes when sometimes indulge with sin all his life then repents and starts practicing. You sure you never had waswas?

@@jeghaszesrrez9174 or possibly shaytan can be playing a trick on you whispering to you that you have no emaan because your not getting these waswas. Ignore it and go on with your live pleasing Allah and worshiping Allah etc.
