Best rated one so far has been Jinx so im trying it on my dog now

I just switched my baby girl from Purina Beneful Puppy to Pure Balance Grain Free and the ingredients are not terrible at all. As for when I had kitties I would strictly feed them Cat Chow Complete and Cat Chow Naturals, even as a pet owner on a budget I knew Meow Mix and Friskies are the worst, no better than store brand... No need to shame ppl who buy their pet food at Walmart. A lot of us do our research and buy the best we can within our means. As for the older couple buying dog treats I would walked up beside them grabbed a better option and saying "My dog loves these and they're fairly healthy for the price!" I wouldn't even have to address them, just say it loudly so they hear it without me being too intrusive. Also, I too have social anxiety so that's how I get my point across sometimes without direct contact. 🙂

I use Pure Balance it has a lot of good ingredients for a decent price

Walmart have pure balance the first four ingredients are meat and Meal. if it says chicken meal then if the chicken bone and all that is dried so Pure Balance is the best food that you can get at Walmart besides Blue Buffalo and Nitro

The 1st ones lying are some vets recommending purina and hill's when 90% of these are full of fillers like corn.

Get over yourself...I buy my dog the Pure Balance Salmon and pea recipe from Walmart and the first 11 ingredients are Salmon, Salmon meal, dried peas, whole dried potato, poultry fat, beet pulp, tapioca, fish meal, whole flaxseed, sunflower oil and dried carrots... Hi Savana, first off I love your name... it is very beautiful and unique. Second and foremost, as a fellow dog owner and lover I am so happy that you got all of this topped right off from the get go. Ingredients, INGRIDENTS are always the first thing I think of when it comes to feeding my pet. I am a pet mother of four dogs and three cats, and I would NEVER buy the food from Walmart and I've never done it, because of what you have said and I have always looked in the ingredients as well. One of my cats is on a strict half raw/ half wet diet because he is extremely overweight and I have never trusted the ingredients in dry cat food to begin with, everything is either filled with fillers, high carbohydrate content, artificial colors/ perservites and worst of all, MEAT MEAL! Which is any animal that is dead, that could very well include dogs and cats. It is terrible that the pet food industry is not regulated, many pets have died or have gotten terribly ill and I have also heard that these pet foods can cause cancer as well. I really don't understand how this food is still selling on the market, it is all a false claim to the poison that is inside those bags. Thank you for sharing and preventing many other pets from getting sick or dying, we all need to stand together as pet parents and be more careful what we feed our pets. Not just be tricked because of something that "looks", good. Thank you for this informative video and I hope that one day, nobody will shop for pet food at Walmart again... except maybe for a grain free, Pure Balance brand. :] We all need to take a stand against this tragedy unfolding in front of our very eyes.

My 4 month German Shepard pup gets sick from pedigree and purina have been cooking for him at home and he’s doing better but am worried he’s not getting enough vitamins trying pure balance today for the first time ❤l

I tried Blue Buffalo with my dogs and one of them kept throwing up. I then tried Pure Balance and both of my dogs could eat it and they liked it. They like the canned Pure Balance as well. I usually give them the Pure Balance Kibble either Chicken or Lamb and have not had any problems since 2015. For their evening meal I add a slice of Pure Balance to their Pure Balance Kibble and they really like that as well.

Blue buffalo is my far a lot better than any Walmart brand, try and search for the sensitive stomach line of them, and always do a transition when changing dog foods or they will throw almost guaranteed

I know this is an older vid, but what's your take on pure balance? Walmart brand manufactured by Ainsworth, but the ingredient list looks very good considering the price

Go for Purina Dog Chow Complete Nutrition I've had a Labrador Retriever live for 13 years. It's affordable and really nothing to complain about. It contains Mixed Tocopherols and it is completely harmless and safe. It's BHA and BHT you really need to look out for as a preservative.

i have a very picky 10 month old yorkie and i don’t know what to feed him at this point. When i barely got him i started off with cesars wet food and a kibble which i forgot the name of. Then i transitioned into another food bc i wanted him to eat quality food instead. So now i was feeding him Fresh Pet puppy meat along with Simply Nourish kibble and most of the time it was a bit of a struggle to get him to eat it unlike when he had Cesars wet food. Some days i would even give him egg and tuna, he seemed to enjoy those more. Recently he hasn’t been eating right the last 4 days even when i offered him egg and tuna he wouldn’t budge. I wanted him to eat something so I had to feed him the Cesar wet food that i had and i mixed it with his kibble. He ate it right up. I don’t know what to do, i don’t want to continue feeding him that food bc i’ve heard cesars food is bad. Any reccommendations? tips? feedback?

Pure Balance dry food or Nature's Recipe dry food for picky eater small dogs. Both have small pieces and grain free options so the first ingredient is meat. Also neither is too xpensive and my chi wouldn't eat any dog food brans for years until I came across those ones. Pure balance and nature's recipe offer canned food and wet food pack options as well

Just looked into it and it’s not too too bad but they do seem to “splice” some of their ingredients, putting less desirable ones later on in the list when in actuality they are first. I’m in Canada and like: Acana, Orijen, Now and First Mate. Thanks for watching! ❤️

Amercian Journey I use for my puppers..the arcana and orjen are to much for my pups belly always had the runs.

Marketing in dog food has gone out of control... People equate how much they pay for dog food with how much they care for the animal. I feed my dog Purina that's completely balanced and is perfectly fine for the average healthy dog. Yes, it has red 40 that is made from petroleum but so dose the cake most feed to a 2 year old during a birthday party. Proper exercise and caring for the mental well being of the animal is far more important and will 100% keep your dog more healthy than the brand of dog food you buy.

I wish this comment section had more comments about cats... My brother and I have been feeding a stray cat for the past couple of weeks and I recently learned that tuna was a pretty big no, no for them everyday. So glad I caught on to that before hurting the cat but I would have loved to learn more... It seems so hard to find stuff about cats - direct and straight to the point. It's always either 60 second shorts now or 20-30 minute videos..

Cats are pretty simple they eat a whole rabbit ect so meat should be #1 high protein meat based diet...most dry foods are crap and they dont drink enough so add some wet! Beef is usually real meat

I just bought Pure Balance cat food "wild and free" grain and soy free food. First ingredient salmon. Second is chicken meal, dried peas then turkey meal. I hope this new Walmart brand is legit.

@@zuezsz I had to wait 2 days after they finished a 50 pound dog food bag. I have a standard poodle that weighs approximately 25 pounds. I have a short beagle mix that weighs 12ish pounds. Today I fed them the Pure balance dog food, my poodle loved it. But my beagle mix didn't like it so much. I'll update you in an hour or two to see if they have any side effects.

I have been reaching dog food for the past week and honestly been disgusted by all of them.. I’m leaning towards Orijen.. any thoughts? I feed blue buffalo right now but she’s (lab/staffy mix) has been on that for a year now... I do also feed fresh veggies and eggs mixed in with her kibble.

You can't trust them anywhere. Ive been feeding my dog Taste of the Wild ancient grains and my vet wants Purina Pro (something) and I researched that and the first 2 ingredients was corn and soy. So yes its very difficult to pick the correct stuff. Also prices are skyrocketing so not a lot of people can afford $85 dollar 10lb bags of dog food.

that is extremely unaffordable. i have a 5 year old lab and a golden retreiver puppy and i do want the best food i can AFFORD for my dogs. i was previously buying purina dog chow think it was atleast a named brand. i recently switched them both to pure balance and i do believe they are much better then dog chow, but i still dont know if it is best i can afford. i think it is a good improvement. my lab was constantly itching herself and i think that dog chow was making my poor dog itch. this industry needs more oversight. they shouldnt be able to sell products overloaded with corn and "meat meal"

I recommend Diamond from Tractor Supply. They have way better dog food. I got it for my dogs a few days ago and they've been tearing it up

Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my mate after a lifetime of fighting got cool results with it.

I came across your video and watched it. I have talked to several vets and I was shocked when everyone of them told me that Walmart pet food is the worst to buy. They make the manufacturers lower the quality of the ingredients in the pet foods in order to keep their prices lower than their competitors. Meaning if you think you are getting what is on the ingredients label list then you are wrong. I have had several of them refuse to treat animals that were feed pet food purchased from Walmart. They were nice about it telling the owners to go to pet food supply store and get their pet food from them. They told them those bags or cans will have way better quality of ingredients and the price is still good. Yes you will pay a little more but your pets health is always worth it. I have been told the same from pharmacist and doctors about generic vitamins and food from Walmart I have to admit I used to buy generic vitamins and food for myself a lot since I was on a budget. But after hearing all of this I now shop very little at Walmart and I also buy name brand products. Yes I pay more for them but I want to live a nice long life. I also want my dog to be with me for a long time and I want his quality of life to be as good as I can make it for him. Your quality of life and your pets quality of life is not worth saving a little bit of money. Stay happy safe and keep your pets safe as well.

I have worked in the pet industry since 1983. Watching how people look at pet foods is almost painful. I saw it on T.V. I have to have it, it must be good... The laws in North AMERICA (Canadian, and American) are pathetic at best. The ingredient panel is only part of the story. You must look at a companies history. How long have they made dog food for. 10 years is the minimum before I would consider selling a product or feeding to one of my own pets. Quick history. Grain free foods hardly existed before the huge melamine poisoning that happened in 2007. This effected almost all canned food (including veterinary foods), virtually all kibbles found in grocery stores, (as well as pet stores that insist on selling garbage foods). Then out of no where grain free foods popped up all over and consumers demanded it but most of them did not know why. Do not follow trends in pet foods. EVER. Do your best to read the ingredient panel, do your research, and check how long the company has been in business without having a recall. I recently dealt with a customer that insisted on an Italian made cat food. "This is what i want" she said to me. $94.00 this product costs in Canada. So factor in that it shipped from Italy, do you know what the laws are in producing pet food in Italy? Did all of the ingredients come from Italy (not likely), it probably goes through 2 distributors before it reaches Canada so what do you think the actual value of this food is now? My cost on this food was approx. $67.00 per bag after shipping and being marked up. That puts this food at a value of approx. $12.00 manufacturing cost. So many factors come into play when it comes to pet food, so please be careful. These companies are here to make money and because of the low standards set by governments they get away with selling poison in a bag.

Hopefully it’s better regulated now 2022. As with inflation/gas prices/etc we need a good hole some cheap food to feed our big dogs, I have a Belgian Malinois and German Shepard and need a lot of food.. CostCo I get their brand food when I can but sometimes pureena or Ol Roy is what can be affordable

For dry food Orijen, Acana, Go pet, first mate , horizon, honest kitchen are some great options☺️ These can’t be found at petsmart etc. Check out pet planet, cow town, more specialty small stores etc

Little useful info.

It’s all a bunch of marketing. Your cats and dogs don’t need to eat what you think they do. Grain free is bad. Corn is not bad. Animal bi-products, probably not good but most or all foods contain them. When you act like such a snob, you actually expose your ignorance. You’ve fallen for some of the biggest lies out there. Most of the designer brands and products are a complete scam and are doing nothing more than stealing your money.
