I fully agree with what you're saying, the interviewer is there to ask questions and see what questions you will answer and hopefully get some juice out of you so it becomes a really good interview that many want to watch or it goes viral. Vlad is not there to put people in prison he's there so they can share their lifestories and share personal stuff and what album they're working on and how their life is going

Yeah, everyone is a tough gangster until they face prison time. A lot of these guys doing long time never had the chance to cooperate to ease their sentencing. They may have taken pleas. If they are so bad ass, why take a plea? Go to trial, blow it and do your time. Running the streets is NOT like being in jail or prison. The thought of 7 plus years away from your family, kids, girlfriend/Wife....the food you love, sleep etc... will make a lot of so called MEN fold and become boys. I hate hearing people talk about "CODES" or "RULES".

Instead of being mad people are "snitching on themselves" on his platform, how about we get rid of this bullshit that it's okay to do the shit they're snitching about? Great Segment. Loved the debate. My thoughts- They are putting way too much responsibility on Vlad. There's too much expectation. Simply put it...VladTV is an entertainment platform like TMZ. His responsibility/loyalty is to his brand and content. The people that watch Vlad WANT to know those nitty gritty questions that can & be seen as incriminating. The responsibility relies solely on the individuals. The interviewees aren't being brought into a room and talking their whole life and not seeing a hidden camera. They are in a whole studio with bright lights plus the set up. The agenda is not hidden. Therefore, moral of the story...don't incriminate yourself for views, clout and buzz. Either you refuse to answer the question, spend money to get media trained to answer questions to avoid consequences or better all together...no interviews. Added note: Vlad spoke about 60 minutes and how that's how he tries to tie himself to that form of interviewing. That style is known as investigative journalism. There are no morals, only the story. So if you're a rapper looking for support from Vlad to tell you what to say or what not to say. Vlad is connecting the dots as you speak as his aim is to investigate the story, not the destruction that may come to you after

The irony to me is that when we work with each other, Black people, we do the same grimy, unethical, shifty shit to each other. So is this really about "White people" doing it, or about how money drives society to do whatever it takes to have it? You mention promoting gang culture as an example. Who are the ones creating the actual gang culture to "promote"? I see Snoop on National TV pushing crip agenda on a daily basis for corporations. So is this all about White people and they are to blame, or are we just ok with being dysfunctional and allowing people to exploit it? That is all I am saying. If there is nothing to actually exploit, then there wouldn't be an issue.

I think this is the ideal that some people live by when speaking on journalists, especially journalists who say they care about the hip hop culture. They want people like Vlad to have a guardian approach. Protect the artists or whomever from themselves. Cover their mouths if you have to. Dr. Dre and Ed Lover set the stage for that in hip hop back in the early 90s.

Because an actual fan and journalist would have at more than basic knowledge. Thats like me saying im a hardrock fan but only know Metallica and AC/DC. If you look at guys like Nardwuar, or that other whiteguy (Sean something i think) When they interview their guests its usually about their music (not their criminal past) and they know about their albums, who produced it, get the timelines correct and even things that the avarage fan dosent know why? Because they did their research. Its disrespectful to the proffession and to the artform not to. Thats the reason why people see him as a poser and a culture vulture, simply because he is. Nobody is "hating" on vlad. I dont pay the mans bills so i have no right to tell him how to get his money, same as if you were a scammer, selling drugs or rob banks. Unless im paying your bills i have no right to tell you how to get your money, wether its right or wrong. Vlad figured out a way to get paid, simple as that, get your money. 🤷🏾‍♂️
