You can also call the bat back before reaching the point and doing a half strafe jump. It works good for corners. Also, 80% of the time it’s best to crouch instead of utilizing the double jump just so you get a hang of the momentum boost. It can definitely help you downhill 100%

I’ve been a vantage main since she came out, never looked back. She’s always so fun. The only sad part is that she’s so slept on

I think her passive, scout scan, is OP. When her hands are out and you ADS the scan box is enlarged and it's a 3x zoom. You can look around really quickly too and if any enemies are in your LOS all the info will pop up. I hardly ever scan with my sniper cause the laser gives away your position, but if I do, I hide the laser by putting my crosshairs on the edge of cover while still head glitching. Vantage is a blast to play and I look forward to seeing the style lburi brings to legends.

Yeah so far I’ve been loving her passive in ranked, it’s actually super useful for scouting out squads in the late game and just doing surveillance in general. Have been loving her so far and all the tips in the comments have helped me learn her a lot faster as well lol

She is THAT legend. Every time I pick her up I have a weirdly fun time. I'm not a big fan of her kit...but...it's got an intuitive flow to it and as much as you feel like repositioning with her involves too much planning to to position Echo...it operates faster than Loba's bracelet. It's actually pretty slick. The sniper is undoubtedly strong...I also feel like there's some trickery going on there cause I hit my shots way better than with other rifles with her Sniper. Could be velocity and less bullet drop but it just feels easier. I do wish you didn't require Line of Sight to get to Echo...I think her reposition ability would be so strong for poke battles if they just let you jump straight to echo even if he's behind you.

That's mostly because the bullet is huge, like as in the size of someone's head huge. Obviously, she also has the bullet drop indicator as well.

Also get used to recalling your bat on the way down from the double jump just so when u need it again it won’t just be lingering around somewhere out of sight

I feel like vantage feels more of a assault/skirmisher legend than a recon. Every recon legend has a wall hack ability that lets them know if there's squads with out the need of line of sight. Crypto with drone and banners, bloodhound with scans, and seer with their heartbeat. Vantage doesn't have that so she heavily relies on using recon becons to find where squads are at. Shes extremely fun ill say this for me shes B tier legend. I think she needs a few buffs to be a solid A tier legend. Also PLS PLS fix her hitbox

Yeah I feel that, she’s always felt like a flex play, she’s very versatile. She is not your traditional recon with a scan ability, but she’s rather an area surveillance legend that scout areas with her passive and sniper. I think her kit overall is pretty solid and the cooldown on her tactical is something that a lot of people over look because you get it back pretty fast (I think like 15-17 seconds). Overall, i give her a B+ tier

One huge tip I learned with vantage is you can crouch cancel her flight so you can not have to complete you flight like at 5:30

Vantage ult needs to remove shields like the old charge sentinel, as of right now the standard sentinel takes the same amount of shots to down someone. Her sniper should be different..

Play cover a lot, use shotguns and smg’s, and always be thinking about taking less damage as possible. I recommend hot dropping every game in pubs and practicing up close engagements. That’s what I used to do and still do to get better at up close gunfights and fighting in situations that are harder to win in

Your leaving Echo out too long after you move during a fight. I know some much higher players keep Echo out but I put him a way as soon as I am airborne. It allows for you to land fight and if the situation is not good for you or team you can move out faster cuz you know you can deploy echo without having to find line of sight. Also try to use your other weapon with the optic more to spot then shoot. Less chance of giving away where that first or second shot is coming from. I often will run a weapon with a blue and then my secondary might be a sniper like long bow with 3 times. So that I can spot long range not give away position and when ult runs out I can still hit those marked targets.

I feel like vantage's kit is aight but as far as being a recon legends she's the worst. Crypto will always see you first and reveal you and his interaction with banners is amazing and somthing id expect a support to do. You CANNOT run from blood hound. He will look in your general direction and reveal you, the rat your chasing, and the third party the rat ran into. I honestly don't even feel you have to make an argument for seer.😂 The binoculars are ok and the info they give is aight but you have to have line of sight and not be too far away. The sniper is fine to but it doesn't even reveal people behind cover when you tag them. It gives dmg amp but I play recon for Info. Id prefer it reveal them. If they do want it to work this way then she probably works better as a skirmisher and if thats the route then I think it'd be better as one kraber-esq bullet. Especially since it has a laser its just gonna reveal you and the sniper game is over at that point.
