Is United A319 First Class worth it? | Dallas-San Francisco trip report
Join me for a 3.5-hour First Class flight with United on their A319 from Dallas to San Francisco. You don't go into a flight like this expecting much and the reality pretty much lined up with that. In this review video I'll show you what you get onboard, some beautiful sunrise views on takeoff and then of the gorgeous American West including New Mexico and Arizona, and a wet and cloudy landing into San Francisco. Oh and you'll get a bonus look into the relatively new Capital One Lounge at DFW Airport - which was probably the highlight of the trip. What do you think? Is United First Class worth it?

If it’s on a widebody I think it’ll be great!
I just remembered that UA has a club at DFW. It's small and food selection wasn't great but I liked the design and the staff were nice. I found it a pleasant space to spend a couple hours. At least United (& DL?) have 3 rows of first class on their 319s, where AA only has 2. Whatever that's worth 🤷♂️

True that’s a very small F cabin on the AA A319s! Interesting about the UA Club.
How long were you on the tarmac for in DFW?? I was surprised how bright it was at takeoff compared to when you boarded…sitting on an A319 waiting long to pull back is particularly tedious. But I guess that might be the case on any aircraft.

It's a fair point.
Is your rating because of the food? Is leg room similar to American? I’m guessing most people are sitting in the cabin due to frequent flier status.

Cabin, food, the overall experience. Legroom is similar to others yes.
I'm not a fan of the 319. I flew on UA's 737 max9 first class ( with seatback IFE) and enjoyed it.

At least the seat is comfier than AA's Oasis first class
