Loved the video. Haven't seen your channel before but will definitely tune it.
Video wise - gotta be 'Spirit Quest'. Super creative, loads of cool skating, and they made beats and loops from skating noises for one of the sections. Fully Flared blew me away when I got back into skating. Marc Johnson's section is SO good.
Mischief - Ignite, still gets me and my first skateboard video. ❤ RIP Bingo, Cates and Zorlac are in it too! It was a bit surreal having a curry with those guys after the Baghead prem. cheers Forde good times. Keep up the good work love the show
on the US vs UK thing, their architecture is perfect for skateboarding. the concrete slabs used for your average US city street or sidewalk are so good. compare that with your average pavement or road over here - most are unskateable. US cities have curbs, ledges, stairs, rails everywhere. combine that with the weather
In answer to the 'most important' skate video, Birdhouse's The End set the blueprint for the big, blockbuster board company videos which were to follow shortly after in the early '00s. Menikmati (and maybe The Storm) did something similar with shoe company videos.
The most important video for me was Rollersnakes Videolog 3. Got if free when I bought my first board and watched it over and over. Toby from Buntingford was my favourite, sick front blunts and all the flat ground tricks a young lad could wish for, I wonder what happened to him?
the old Death videos. i lived near Harrow and used to run into those guys a lot. the videos were UK, had a lot of great guys, accessible but still gnarly etc. good stuff

The most important videos to me growing up was Sidewalk In Motion and Hoax Before Capture. Franklin Stephens in particular had a big influence on my skateboarding.

Use the bolts and wax together to make the world's sketchiest flat bar. Redeemable for one session until someone lands too heavy on it, or if it's a hot day.
Another thing about Videolog 3 was the UK Vs US debate started for me with that video, it went from UK scene sections (mostly in school playgrounds with an overcast sky) into a video review of Mad Circle and Maple with cool Jazz and bright sunshine. You couldn’t have a more stark contrast. I loved both and I guess it’s not fair to compare the two but the US videos just looked so sick.
Am I the only person who can’t hear the audio from the microphones? Can hear the sound effects and other audio fine but nothing from the mics 🤯

A year's supply of butter and bolts, what a dream. So many spots will be made slick in the night and all the skint kids in my town will get free hardware like some kind of Santa Claus for skate rats. @LimblessS
Melt the wax together into a giant replica of Tony Hawk, complete with exoskeleton formed from bolts and enhanced with AI. I will set Mecha-Tony loose in the streets of Tokyo where he will be accepted and worshipped.
