I live in Australia, used to only own BMWs and Benz and been only buying Japanese cars since the early 2000s. EG3 single carb 1.3 hatch, EG4 dual carb 1.5 hatch, EG5 1.6 twincam non-tec hatch, EH9 sedan ( ie EG 1.6L small tec ), EG8 sedan ( 1.5L efi non-tec auto ) EK1 sedan ( 1.6L non-tec ), EM1 coupe ( ie US made EK Si coupe B16a ), DA9 teg coupe 1.8L twin cam non tec, DC2 teg coupe B18C2 x3 over the years, DC2R coupe Aust spec round lights, DC5R Aust spec, AP1 S2000, ED9 CRX B16A, CK accord ( ie CG 4 door F23 auto ), Subaru Liberty 2nd gen 2.5 RX 4wd luxury ( ie 2nd gen legacy auto EJ25 ). Many of the abovementioned cars have since been sold and currently have 7 Hondas. Yet to buy a Toyota, came close a few times and very much looking forward to Toyota ownership most likely a GT86 or GR86 and/or a RAV4 hybrid as a daily.

多謝龍sir 分享。我由十六歲學生時代已是豐田用家。我第一部車就是Celica74‘ 跟著starlet, Tercel, Corolla AE86, AE110, MR2 AW11, SW20, Prius G2, G3, Prius V, RS200 兩部 （第一部被偷），現在還keep 住部 PriusV 喺香港，在加拿大就日常用 Prius Prime PHEV. 老實講，豐田耐用真係不用講。在香港部PriusV 行左150K, 只是換了一次左頭燈，brake 皮都未換過。我部88’ MR2 AW11 SC, 用到2011年行左120K, 除了正常保養，連燈都未燒過一粒，呢部車有少量改裝用作slalom race 同 weekend race 都是耐用到極。老實說，我由十六歲用車到現在五十歲，不下用過三十多部車，MB, Audi, Mazda, Honda, Volvo 等等，但豐田的耐用程度真係不可至疑。現在在香港還keep住 12’PriusV, 17’Audi A4 Avant, 16’MX5 ND, 在加拿大就Prius Prime PHEV, MB C43 wagon, Volvo XC90 T8. 日常都是用豐田為主。

AE100，HIACE，ECHO，PICNIC。 耐唔耐用就睇你有冇保養，定期更換零件。 我部05年PICNIC起圍依然好快。

屋企人最初揸Liteace(1989)工作, 細細架又裝到貨又好力水又省油又唔識壞。 無奈因為政府要強制退役歐盟前期柴油車，被迫換左部二手Hiace 100系(歐盟1期-1997)。 部車又係又裝到好多貨又好力水又省油冷氣又凍又唔識壞。 過左唔記得幾多年再一次因為政府要強制退役歐盟3期前柴油車，又再次無奈地換左部二手Hiace 200系(歐盟4期-2007)。 部Hiace 200又係裝到好多貨又好力水又省油冷氣又凍，機器無問題，反而係個電腦有少少問題，不過行車唔大影響。 部200系用到2022年都要強制退役了，所以都唔打算再比錢整電腦，屋企人都打算2022退休。 總結： 3部車都行左超過350000公里，部200系現在都已經行左390000公里。 3部車都唔係壞而退役，係政策要令佢地退役。

呢款車真係慳，十幾年中港車，日日東莞，香港，行咗70幾萬公里，波箱冇問題，仍然健在，豐田👍

我有架 04 年TOYOTA 家庭 van , 行咗約有三十六萬英哩 , 依架唔用得 , 原因 : 佢三年前由六個缸逐漸變成五個缸 ( 我一直唔知 , 因為一啲跡像都冇 ) , 最後多出嚟嘅高溫燃油燒咗個環保化廢氣器引到 著 check engine 燈 , 就此過唔到車驗 擺左喺度 , 架車依然完全 ok , 引擎靜如新車 , 行駛完滑 , 只係法例上唔可以上路 ; 我知道有乜方法去愉雞過驗 , 但自己仍有其他車可用就一直懶整佢 , 㗎車好搓 座位又舒服 , 走長程 ( 十個八個鐘 都係濕濕碎 , 落車唔會背脊痛 ! ) 所以唔捨得 junk 咗佢 ; TOYOTA 確實好車 , 但近年D欸式好醜 , 應該炒個 designers !

@@cpgeorge4442 六個缸變成五個缸，應該會有好明顯震動及行車冇力現象。我之前部V8 SUV就試過有一個缸冇行（因為火咀失靈），行車明顯冇力及不暢順。

I have a Kia Sedona (3800cc 4-cam 24 valve VVT) from 2007 with about 190,000km. No engine and transmission issue. Still on Original spark plugs. It is thirsty but it has POWER!!! Very smooth from idle to Redline and I use Pennzoil Synthetic Oil. No Cam belt change required since it runs on Timing Chain. I love the huge interior. This is a full size Minivan with walk through from 1st to 3rd row

Thanks for another great story of Lung Sir's well preserved high km daily along with the amazing story of Ho Sir's start at Crown Mtrs from day 1. What separates your channel from other HK channels is that you guys never rely on gimmicks or hyper expensive/rare cars to amuse your audience. For someone over 50 y.o like myself, it's the history of car related matters from era's gone by that is endearing to us. As a young boy growing up in the early 70s I have seen most of the old cars mentioned by Ho Sir ie the old Cedric/Gloria taxis that were common back in the mid 70s before the white shark shaped Cedric that arrived around 1977, the old diesel Benz taxis, the Morris 1100, the 70s Lite Ace Vans etc. I have great memories of the Crown Motors building in North Point, a relative of my family was one of the Service Manager there at the time and he gave me a tour of the Servicing departments on different floors back in 1989/1990. He also arranged a test drive of the then newly released Lexus LS400, they kept a small numbers of LS400 there at the time. I was only 18 or 19 at the time and a couple of his admin staffs came along with me and I drove the car from North Point to Shek O and back. Took it real gentle on the way to Shek O to experience the great ride and ultra low NVH and I asked the staff members if I could push the car hard on the way back and they said yes so I drove it hard and they never thought a big and heavy car could go so fast on the windy roads and never been that scared in their lives :-). The LS400 was much quieter, with more response from the engine, gearbox and brakes compared to the W126 500 sel my dad had at the time where I used to drive back in the day. It was the car that really shocked the Euro prestige car makers with its refinement, quality, performance, price, reliability and customer service. The same relative also organised a test drive of the SW20 MR2 for me the week after where I met the sales rep at their Wanchai showroom and went for a drive from Wanchai to Stubbs road, Tai Hang road, East Corridor and back to base. 1989 onwards till the mid 90s was such a golden era for Japanese manufacturers and Toyota released many awesome products during this period and more significantly they are still going very strong on the road now 30 years on be it the LS400 with the 1UZ-FE or the SW20 with the 3S-GE or a Landcruiser with the 1HZ diesel. Provided they are regularly maintained at the right intervals and not abused in terms of usage they just keep going and going and when rubber seals harden and leak after 20-30 years which they eventually will, replacing with genuine seals and factory spec sealants it will be good for another 20-30 years; good luck with that with modern VAG cars and other Euro brands. May be Lung Sir and the TG HK team can feature a Crown, LS400 or Camry with high kms with feedback from the owners in the near future ? Thanks in advance and keep up with the great work.

無錯，喜歡甚至欣賞或偏愛豐田車，除了耐用可靠之外，很大程度就是喜歡它較同級歐日對手寧靜。而且亦不是鍾愛或盲目追求大馬力、大扭力。

小弟喺澳洲買過一部05年Camry，最後賣俾個朋友果時行左成30萬公里，引擎波箱狀態仲係有新車8成水平，車廂少少雜聲都唔覺有，真係好誇張。 老實講，試諗下喺沙漠裡面road trip途中，行到去附近幾百公里都人跡罕見嘅地方，架車跪低左要等人嚟救，真係隨時搞出人命。所以澳洲人（或者某地區嘅武裝份子）點解咁鐘意揸Toyota，唔係冇原因嘅

真係好好睇😊見到龍sir戰車之餘 仲要請到001出嚟話當年 佩服👍🏻

非常同意龍 sir 所講 , 本人乜是用 Previa , 21年車行咗接近 220000 km 只换過ㄧ次頭碟 , ㄧ次 alternator 及ㄧ次底𧄌膠 , 操控易 、缺點只是起步慢、呔不及歐洲車多。

曾經用日產Sunny, 非常好揸，個起動好直接，軚盤好順好輕，開得好舒服 20幾萬公里，換過引擎😌

1997 Prado. Bought in Tokyo, used largely in England - in all weathers. Very few replacement parts. Still looks and runs like new, despite high mileage. Careful driving and regular oil changes are the key, I would say.

多年前我喺澳洲讀書時在Toyota車廠的assembly line 做暑期工,當時一條線約生產幾十至一百架Corolla 或Corona.我第一部車是二手vw Beetle, 跟住是Ford Cortina MII, Holden Gemini。在香港揸過Honda HRV, Toyota Picnic。Picnic 揸了十二年,都很耐用,祇有小毛病,如壞窗摩打、starter 等。最近賣了, 換咗Honda CRV。

来自马来西亚的观众。Toyota vios ncp 150. 不错用。不过别提什么高科技和高安全。但是拿来代步工具很好。

呢部嘢我公司起東莞每日出入深圳兩次、行咗一百萬公里、行到咪表歸零仲行緊。上到高速公路仲好好飛。

絕對同意日本車耐用啲，特別係豐田hybrid車完全冇嘢整又慳油，但係我覺得歐洲車操控上感覺好啲。我擁有過嘅車順序係：NSR250R, CB400sf Big one, Jazz, Prius, Camry hybrid, Wish, CB400sf tec3, F20

龍sir可以講下carbon cleaning有冇用同幾時做嗎？🙏🏻

我考到牌第一部車就係大陸版皇冠，架車依家四年行咗兩萬二千公里，雖然揸的少但是從來都冇故障， 唯一壞過嘅係冷氣調節風向嘅電機，個日落雨我 click 咗好多次，觸摸屏反應唔夠快出風口亂嗮，第二日就好翻；我老豆部德國原廠 Tiguan 就冇咁好命，大陸油質差，買咗冇幾耐就試過有一次入嘅油有問題，搞到部自動波怠速死火。

我第一架車係架唔知幾多手既手波Corolla，個時乜都唔識，冇驗車冇試車就收左架車，第一日攞車仲去飛左一轉，感覺都好正常，之後先拎去車房睇下有啲咩要執，先發現原來啲波箱油一早漏哂😅

我部 2002 Camry 2.4 揸到 2020 年，完全新的一樣，馬力充足，全原裝油，無花無凹，18 萬公里，腊都未打過，立立令。因為真係無嘢搞，揸到悶，送咗比朋友，朋友揸咗年半都奇怪無嘢壞，佢對上一架 Golf 唔夠 10年車整做儍。

德國車廠太搞搞震，且有’just good enough’的歪理，當可靠耐用的要求冇到。

唔係話其它車Channel唔好，但TopGear就係有一種大佬既內涵同沉穩，o個種言之有物，熟悉度高，成熟而內儉既氣度，實在係云云中無可媲美，造車同拍片都係一樣，經驗、時間、用心，先可以做到Top Gear依種剛剛好剛剛好既火喉

我架1999年Sienna 六缸1MZ 碟重未换只換過起動馬逹及發電机，行駛229000,英哩安全帶扣。

Corolla 121 無敵腳車，慳油好力，冷氣夠凍，到而家都咁鐘意

第一部车是Toyota Corolla Coupe，觉得好型仔，性能的确很棒。

絕對同意豐田耐用,2000年渣過eCHO,.頭三年冇野要整.而家渣緊HIACE就黎十萬,乜都冇整過,電都未駛換,所有燈都未燒過,十萬內只係做左例牌野,就係果D風隔呀,等等基本野,皮方面只係換過一次

簡單就是耐用。本田 Stepwgn 2006 RG3 0首揸到而家。仲好可靠

家人最近买了一辆09年的Camry，整车隔音还好过现在的新车，买回来只是换了一些消耗品👍

@@tommygravel5653 Nothing that we can do about it. The passenger side quarter panel (next to the door) had been repair 3 times due to rust with bondo and fiber glass. Rust just keep coming back. Then last summer, the passenger side upper wheel well area started to have rust too. I repaired that area and repainted it. Hope it will last a bit longer. Bottom of tailgate also had rust and was repaired about a year ago. Rust shows up everywhere after 26 years. Not to mention the rust under the car .....

Corolla ae110R 玩咗六七年，淨係換咗一枝伸縮天線，一次cam帶，同一次車軚

丰田d车的确好耐用 我爹地工作嘎单位以前就有部2003款丰田Previa （大霸王），行左50几万公里，都没有一次大修 2018年宜家因为大陆强制报废政策 因为排气不合格 俾强制报废 宜家换左丰田埃尔法。 同埋我爹地单位以前仲有部1998款丰田皇冠155都系 行左30几万公里 都没有一次大修 除了烧机油严重之外 于2013年排气不过关俾强制报废。

我喺北美揸緊2004年Toyota Matrix,行咗400,000公里,而家仲揸緊,非常精神.👍

I am currently living in New Zealand and I can say its the best place if you're a car lover. I currently Own an Accord CL1 Euro R. Previously I owned a Honda Prelude BB1, Toyota Corona, Nissan Laurel C35 (Which you don't officially get in Hong Kong), Nissan Terrano D21, a Mazda 323 BG and BJ series. They are cheap cars but however lots of fun and most importantly, cheap to own!

買過三架豐田，一架2006凌志gs300，一架110，一架IQ，全部死曬引擎lol。而家準備買xw20 prius，期待你地做下評測

我架acr30廿年車都用得開心，但最近凍車入波有時要等1，2分鐘至行得。波箱有咩問題？

我架H0NDA FA1，07年行咗16萬5，舊年至換風扇水箱同偈等膠，4隻碟仲未換，泊得住龍Sir哈哈！

我同意! 我部94 Camry 家陣重用緊。

Toyota Harrier 3.0，1999年出廠，而家仲揸緊 （當老爺車打理）👍👍。

BMW e36(二手兩年，冇下次） Lexus es300，燒龍 Jazz 冇野整 Lexus gs300（十四年車，o2 sensor 換過，㩒用）

我也有這款車開了十七年沒有維修過引擎，保養也是一萬多才去換最便宜的機油，空氣濾清器20,000才換一次，車子非常好開又省油高速公路一個人開可以爬到13公里一公升，到處出去玩留下很多開心的回憶很是捨不得賣掉。

今次唔同意，我以前都係揸同一期同款previa, 開咗八年，未夠十萬公里，不過底盆生銹，左尾轆周圍銹到有洞，架車冇出過任何意外，但係就係生銹所以夾左。

5年前買左架Corolla 2001 NE121，行左22萬，我再玩多兩萬幾先賣左，無野整，係壞過個窗摩打，反而後來換左架MarkX 2005整到驚，今日揸緊架2013年Jazz，但都係最懷念Corolla，上過飛鵝山，完全無問題，幾後悔當初賣左佢，仲擁有佢嘅朋友要珍惜，聞說而家新出啲豐田車無咁耐用

2009 Gen 3 Prius in Australia. I am the second owner , 216,000 km, all factory original parts, even brake pads! Toyota engineering prowess and quality control is second to none,, despite the complex hybrid drive chain compare to an internal combustion engine.

@@JerryChanD I can only recall changing the small 12V battery, but not the hybrid drive battery.

@@dstsui That's really crazy. You know people often said the hybrid just buys time and saves money from fuel to the hybrid battery, but not many people can describe how much and when did the hybrid battery go out and need to replace.

用過Honda accord ,BMW 325i ,Toyota ,Lexus es350， BMW比較麻煩多，冬天温度0下門鎖，不能鎖，代步車Honda,豐田 最實用，ES350 馬力大，相對用油多。正常囉！

有一位朋友開一部 Previa 走中港電召，曾經一日來回中港6程，跑咗一千五百多公里，5年多錶歸0，即系超過一百萬公。期間只換過損耗性零件，車頭波箱未有出現異常情況。車房大偈話與本地四至五年車無乜分別，再跑多幾十萬都無問題。

我都覺得toyota d 車真係好鬼耐用, 我部toyota starlet ep91 na, 引擎就來400, 000km 都好順, 三手車110,00km 買返離, 2007 到現在, 我都冇換頭碟囉, 尾古drum brake 換左一次, 其他的都是小小事 TopGear HK 極速誌, 最喜歡都是聽你兩位講車, (龍Sir與Edmond),

RS200 is Altezza 3SGE BEAMS right? Fren of mine here in Australia swapped the Altezza beams engine, gearbox and differential into his 1969 BMW 2002 race car some 10 years back from a donor car that has done around 120,000km. After 6,7 seasons of track events he decided to strip engine down for a rebuild. Took the engine parts to an engineering/engine shop for measurement and everything was still within spec with no visible wear on the bearing surfaces, the bores were still in very good shape with no ridges and honing marks from factory still clearly visible and the valve guides were still in good shape. So all he had to do was to reassemble with a new VRS kit, new std sized bearings and new std sized piston rings set and be rest assured the engine will run for another 6 to 7 season again. Talk about road car reliability and durability in racing situations. Footage from his incar at a recent event below, where he was the fastest car of the day beating a highly modified slant nose G series Porsche 911 with downforce. I'm lucky enough to drive his car now and then at certain events. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pKiJ1Jenh6qWlrA.html Altezza package worked perfectly in his application, esp when car is almost 500kg lighter than a stock Altezza sedan. The long engine and exhaust manifold is factory stock spec, still running VVTi and tuned with Power FC ECU and the owner fabricated ITBs himself ( ie 4 throttle in HK speak ).

@@topgearhongkong 非凡創意, 選擇凌志😎 個人擁有過1989 EE90, 第二部頭代AE110, 而家揸住架17年凌志ES300 MCV30, 架車靜過Benz。下架Target都係離不開豐田, 想換Lexus IS250C

豐田气車的設定是任何人上去開都可以開得很順和舒服、就算你是風琴腳加油也很舒服

我諗 dc9 就唔得，佢地啲風琴腳令我呢個六七級風浪既船上都唔會暈船浪既人都令我想嘔

第一部車, 2008 Toyota Camry, 開佐10年左右, 7萬咪, 算係揸得比較少, 平時停係半室内環境, (算係有上蓋, 唔使淋雨) 換油保養都係豐田自己個dealer度搞既. 最後一年問題非常多, engine燒機油, 個ABS系統坏佐, 個suspension第5年開始已經變軟. 賣出后做下research先知道個06-11年既好多豐田Camry都有engine燒油問題, 而大部分都係過佐原厰保證期7萬咪左右先發生, 所以豐田唔包修. 但係, 美國呢邊大部分豐田車聲譽都好好, KZread上面有豐田車揸到48萬咪(差唔多77萬kilo)都仲用得好好. 我算係唔好彩, 兼第一架車唔識保養, 不過除佐燒油同ABS系統, 唯一出過問題係個冷卻水泵(保質期出問題, 免費換) 10年車換過兩次車胎, 三次空氣過濾格, 同一次電池,(刹車皮都未換過一次) 加埋dealer度換油保養, 十年應該用佐$4000左右, 都算OK. 新車冇買豐田, 換佐Subaru outback, 内飾明顯差過豐田, 不過算係大件夾抵食, 而且Subaru四驅確實係業界最強.

我的車也是豐田Noal買了十年也冇壞過

我架lexus es300 開左7年 剎車皮接近全新….

我第一部Corona. 第二部Corolla, 然後Lexus GS300. 而家Honda Crv.

隨左學車揸豐田，從來都冇諗過豐田，大家對車要求唔同，我要外型好睇，多野可以改，一定要有tubro， 豐田都滿足唔到我，我買過唯一一部日本車就係2017swift 車仔細細內籠又唔算太窄但係又幾好玩，現在賣左換左部benz都仲回味緊

豐田有個叫做80分主義嘅原則，即係每個aspect 都要有80分，但唔追求攞第一，結果就係穩打穩扎但係...悶

如果龍sir放依部車， 我相信一樣好多人要。

八十年代末到九十年代初，豐田的vvti和本田vtec各自用不同的方法改善進氣，各自有專利，但其實這些都不是全新概念只是很前人的設計改進而成因此專利期不長，十年後專利雙方的專利都滿了，可以互相採用，因此出現了ivtec, vvtl-i等，其安是結合了兩者而成。

I used 2004 and 2006 corolla over 150xxx miles, the engine still a high power. When we maintain and take good care of toyota's car, We can use at least more 10 years or more. Haha!!!

幾時介紹到edmond嗰架？😄

我架Honda 2004 siR現在都17年, 只換個一次brake disc, 重係非常勁, 不過只136k,( 在加拿大)
