    Born 73. In 66 dad was 23 or 24 and in the army. Mum was 17-18 and in her native Peru and would emigrate here instead of the U.S as originally planned, in July 1970, same month as dad's birthday. I just love seeing how things were in the 60s as they had a very different feel to the 70s. Things modernised so much from the late 60s to the point where the late 70s was unrecognisable.

    These clips of 60s Australia are so fascinating. We view this time as one steeped in repression and conservatism (I mean the the older people, not the swinging sixties youth) yet the general public are really quite open minded, easy going and thoughtful. Their accents are different to ours as well.

    Daytime dresses typically had higher necklines and covered shoulders, so I think topless in the context of the day meant strapless or lower necklines, ie visible cleavage.

Mostly she stayed home until the baby was drinking regular formula etc. Or they can cover themselves with a small blanket in public. No reason to not be discrete about it.

    This matter can be resolved with a little bit indepth debate. Now u can say why completely topless dresses may not work,.given todays principles which ppl abide with they are easily gonna get deluded by woman. That can be problematic for men as it would distract them.
