If you think that's good then you've NEVER played the game before. He's actually trash. Incredibly trash. Doesn't even manual out of tricks after the vert and after grinds. He doesn't transition while grinding. Very basic player. He skates like he does in real life which is cool, but no where near the impossibly crazy stuff you can do in the game that is unrealistic compared to real life skating.

The fact that I now know Tony Hawk is actually really good at his own game brings me so much happiness, I always grew up wondering if I could beat Tony at his own game literally but looking at this I can confidently say…he whoops my ass at the park and on the couch

Tony Hawk playing himself on THPS is so badass! I remember getting the warehouse demo for the Playstation as a promo with Domino's pizza. My step bros and I would play the hell out of that thing. Then imagine how much more fun the full game was going to be once it came out.

I didn't expect in a million years that Tony Hawk would be good at his own games. It's like expecting Tom Clancy to actually play Splinter Cell. Tony Hawk is one of the most down to earth people ever I swear! I met Tony years and years ago when i was alot younger. I won a quicksilver contest and got to meet him and get a board signed by him. Such an awesome guy all around. And a pioneer of Skateboarding in all aspects!! Hats off and board smacks for Tony!! 🧢🛹

Bad Cornflakes I found that a lot of times. It ether doesn’t wanna revert. Like you press it. But it doesn’t work. And sometimes you revert. And you press manuel. But that don’t work. Or better yet. Doing a special imput. But that don’t work sometimes. I’ve heard loads of ppl complain about this. Moreso on the PS4 controller. Which I play there.

I remember doing manuals like Mullen you’d be able to beat anyone even after the timer was done you were making points until ya stopped or fell and lost it all, it became a game of who could manual the longest lol

This is amazing, I've always wanted to see Tony play one of his games! He's pretty good too. I've been addicted to playing this one on PC. Such a great remaster

The legend himself is on the show! Most collector's editions for games suck, but this one comes with a birdhouse deck! 10/10 remaster!

this was a great watch, my favorite title of the whole series was THPS: Underground 2. I absolutely played the shit out of that and the online play was so fun!

I met Tony Hawk at the Magdelena Ecke YMCA in Encinitas, CA when I was 11 or 12. He had just helped them design an X-games style skatepark on their campus so he was skating there regularly. I ran up and asked him if I could get his autograph, but since neither one of us had a pen or paper, he said "sorry, man. Have a good day though" ... These days I'm staring 30 in the face and that moment is still one of the highlights of my life ... Wish I had his autograph though. 🙁

I just bought this game yesterday on Ps4 and i enjoyed it alot good to see Tony Hawk The Legend of skateboarding Himself

Imagine playing these as a teen then getting to play them with Ton Hawk. That would be amazing.

"I'm just gonna follow you" Tony Hawk: "Good luck." ROFL

It makes me feel so good to see that even Tony Hawk gets those obnoxious Wipeouts on Downhill Jam. I forgot how angry that level makes me.

That level pisses me off all the time I fucking hate it and don't get how Tony Hawk likes it.

I’m so glad they remastered these games. All I had was tong hawk pro Skater 3 on my n64 which I continued to play to this day until this beauty came out

They should make an update for the game so that you don’t accidentally hit the pause/start button. All you have to do is put it on a timer. Make it so you have to hold down start for a second before the menu comes up.

The hard part about this game, is knowing when to stop

As gamer & fan of these games Starting with the ORIGINAL "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater" on the N64, then moving to the PS2, PS3 & PS4, It makes me so happy & feel such Joy, seeing Tony who is now a father, trying to play & enjoy his namesake games! WAY TO GO TONY, You are a LEGEND & But of COURSE...The Birdman!

at one point, he says "_We_ developed it on the PC" when talking about what he usually played it on. My guess is he and the devs worked back and forth on it extensively.

I love this game I grew up on this game and I still have the first second and third on Nintendo 64 and I wonder if he’s gonna make any more Tony Hawk camp in 2024
